CHRISTIANS
Train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness
is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to
come. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance. (1 Timothy 4:7–9)
Buddhism
Buddhism today is divided into two major branches known to their respective
followers as Theravada, the Way of the Elders, and Mahayana, the Great Vehicle.
Followers of Mahayana refer to Theravada using the derogatory term Hinayana, the
Lesser Vehicle.
Buddhism has been significant not only in India but also in Sri Lanka, Thailand,
Cambodia, Myanmar (formerly known as Burma), and Laos, where Theravada has been
dominant; Mahayana has had its greatest impact in China, Japan, Taiwan, Tibet, Nepal,
Mongolia, Korea, and Vietnam, as well as in India. The number of Buddhists worldwide
has been estimated at between 150 and 300 million. The reasons for such a range are
twofold: Throughout much of Asia religious affiliation has tended to be nonexclusive; and
it is especially difficult to estimate the continuing influence of Buddhism in Communist
countries such as China.
Islam
Islam is a major religion based on the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. The
literal translation of the Arabic word "Islam" is "to surrender." A person who practices
Islam is a Muslim.
Muslims regard the Koran as the word of God to Muhammad. God is considered the
author thus leaving the Koran infallible. The Koran is divided into 114 chapters.
Hinduism
Hinduism, religion that originated in India and is still practiced by most of its
inhabitants, as well as by those whose families have migrated from India to other parts of
the world (chiefly East Africa, South Africa, Southeast Asia, the East Indies, and England).
The word Hindu is derived from the Sanskrit word sindhu (“river”—more specifically, the
Indus); the Persians in the 5th century BC called the Hindus by that name, identifying
them as the people of the land of the Indus. The Hindus define their community as “those
who believe in the Vedas” (see Veda) or “those who follow the way (dharma) of the four
classes (varnas) and stages of life (ashramas).”
Hinduism is a major world religion, not merely by virtue of its many followers
(estimated at more than 700 million) but also because of its profound influence on many
other religions during its long, unbroken history, which dates from about 1500 BC. The
corresponding influence of these various religions on Hinduism (it has an extraordinary
tendency to absorb foreign elements) has greatly contributed to the religion's
syncretism—the wide variety of beliefs and practices that it encompasses.
The canon of Hinduism is basically defined by what people do rather than what
they think. Consequently, far more uniformity of behavior than of belief is found among
Hindus, although very few practices or beliefs are shared by all. A few usages are
observed by almost all Hindus: reverence for Brahmans and cows; abstention from meat
(especially beef); and marriage within the caste (jati), in the hope of producing male heirs.
Most Hindus chant the gayatri hymn to the sun at dawn, but little agreement exists as to
what other prayers should be chanted. Most Hindus worship Shiva, Vishnu, or the
Goddess (Devi), but they also worship hundreds of additional minor deities peculiar to a
particular village or even to a particular family. Although Hindus believe and do many
apparently contradictory things—contradictory not merely from one Hindu to the next, but
also within the daily religious life of a single Hindu—each individual perceives an orderly
pattern that gives form and meaning to his or her own life. No doctrinal or ecclesiastical
hierarchy exists in Hinduism, but the intricate hierarchy of the social system (which is
inseparable from the religion) gives each person a sense of place within the whole.
2. My family and friends’ beliefs in life is a major factor in answering the big questions
in my life. They give me different kinds of options/choices to choose from and
knowing that no matter what I do as I long as I do it with the faith to GOD , I can
do it. Maybe not now, not tomorrow, no matter how hard the road is. I will definitely
do it.
3. In the ritual part, the results may vary on how the ritual is done and what is its sole
purpose, if its purpose is to worship and give thanks to the GODS then it’s healthy.
While if its objective is to do harm to others then it is not healthy anymore. For
witchcraft and sorcery, these two is definitely unhealthy because doing such things
are forbidden.

1. Rituals that are usually done in my community are processions every town and
barangay fiesta, and offering prayers and goods to the ones that died for the peace
of their souls.
2. Processions usually starts from a mass and after it the processions starts and goes
to a certain place and in that place, the people will also offer a prayer to the patron
that they’re celebrating.
3. You will have a showdown of this rituals next meeting. Consider the fun functions
involved in every ritual you will show us.

Part 1. Create a self-portrait made up of objects, symbols and/or imagery that represent
key elements of your political identity.
*Technology surely dies affect our sense of self in good and bad ways and it depends on
the user on how they use it. It’s either to help or to distract. In good ways, using technology
helps us discover and explore new things that might help us develop ourselves into a
better version of ourselves. But when used in an undisciplined manner, it sometimes
distracts us and for the worst part it destroys our self. Like when using a fake identity to
fool or scam someone online, cyberbullying someone because you don’t like them and
many more unethical acts. Doing these things are the reasons why technology is not
helpful to us.
*Being true to yourself online for me means that an individual is not ashamed of what
kind of person and personality that they have. They accepted what they really is and not
afraid to show it to the strangers that they’ll meet and met online. It’s like being your true
self without giving a f*ck to what others say to you online, whether they badmouth or
compliment you. That’s the essence of being true to yourself online.

1. Make a timeline in the career that you have now and what its like 5 years from
now.
Fourth Year.
Second Year.
Fifth Year.
Third Year.
First Year.
First Year.
At first year, I know that it’ll be hard for me because the course that I took is not
easy and needs a lot of work to do. As a student that is not that very inclined in the
subject called mathematics it’ll surely have an effect on me on how I deal with this.
Second Year.
At second year, I think this time around I partially coped up with the needs or
requirements physically, emotionally, and mentally. Quite prepared for the bigger
problems that is yet to come.
Third Year.
At third year, I think this time of my life I am quite comfortable with the things that
I am doing. Doing the things that a normal college student is doing. While doing such
things I am also prepared for the much exciting problems that’ll surely make me suffer
and will teach me some life lessons.
Fourth Year.
At fourth year, the “exciting problems” that I mentioned in the previous statement
has come and did some major renovations to me in all aspects. Life hit me with it’s sad
truth that in life settling inside your comfort zone won’t take you to places that you
dreamt of, we need to work for it.
Fifth Year.
Finally, in the fifth year of my timeline I can say that maybe this time around I
finished my college life and is now an “adult” with no such excuses to give in time of
downfalls. Getting a job, giving back to my parents and fulfilling my unfinished goals are
my main priorities in this moment so enough with this nonsense ‘cause I have a lot of
works to do.

My Annual Goals
*Identify at least two stressors for each category and explain how you were able to
respond to that stressor.
Environmental Stressors
Workplace/School- For workplace/school, I just do my best to do the tasks
needed and to learn from every lesson that is being discussed.
Temperature- For the heat, I simply bring a towel for the sweat and water for the
thirst.
Physical Stressors
Lack of Sleep-I just simply sleep whenever possible to compensate my lack of
sleep.
Lack of relaxation-Same as I did to my lack of sleep, whenever I have a chance
to relax I always grab it and make the most of it.
Emotional Stressors
Pressure- I just simply put it as a motivation to strive hard knowing that if I do good
that pressure will eventually turn into a pleasure.
Frustration-Knowing that frustration is the proof that you’re trying to do something
you really want to makes me surpass the frustrations that I face, it’s a motivation to keep
pushing through.
