I’m coming to you before my *very first* End of Quarter Deadline.

And I’m humbly asking you to pitch in $20 before midnight and join
us before we close the books on the first big deadline of this historic
campaign. >>

I’ll be blunt: This race didn’t turn out how we wanted in 2018.

But after talking with my family, after listening to our community, after hearing from
my wife Emily, and thinking about what kind of country we want for our daughter
Alice -- the choice to run again was easy.

Point blank: Washington, DC doesn’t have Virginia’s best interests at heart.

Everyday Virginians want to know that the American Dream is still possible for them
and their families. We want an inclusive economy, greater opportunity, and real
leaders who understand that service and working together is more important than
partisan bickering.

Winning the House in 2018 didn’t magically solve our problems. We still wake up
every day to the same disappointing headlines, the same lack of justice and
leadership in our nation’s Capital.

To enact meaningful change nationwide -- and to bring the American Dream back to
Virginia -- we need more Democrats in charge.
That’s why I’m running. And that’s why I’m asking you to pitch in $20
right now and be a founding donor of my 2020 campaign before my
very first End of Quarter Deadline. >>

I don’t expect your support -- but I do plan to earn it.

I grew up in a blue collar family where everyone worked with their hands, and
worked for everything we got.

The opportunities in this country are what allowed me to be the first in my family to
graduate from college, serve in Iraq and Afghanistan as a Marine, and attend
graduate school with the help of the GI Bill.

Nothing I’ve had has ever come easy. This election certainly won’t be easy to win.
But together, I know we have a shot.

I'm humbly asking you to pitch in $20 or whatever you can right now
before the first End of Quarter Deadline of my campaign. We’ll put it
right to work getting our message out to voters and being the voice of
change that Virginia’s 5th District so sorely needs. >>
