 ABSTRACT

Aim of this project is to develop an automated system that tracks real time and
controls the college bell according to the set time and intervals.
It replaces the Manual Switching of the Bell in the Colleges. It uses Real Time Clock
(DS1307) which tracks over the Real Time. And also uses an EEPROM to store the timings at
which bell has to ring. We can enter the preferred ringing times and set the time using a
keypad provided to the user. When this time equals to the Bell Ringing time, then the Relay
for the Bell is switched on. The Bell Ringing time can be edited at any Time. The time is
displayed on LCD display. The Microcontroller is used to control all the functions, it get the
time through the keypad and store it in its Memory. And when the Real time and Bell time get
equal then the Bell is switched on for a predetermined time.
