 Write a description paragraph on a landmark in Australia from their researched
information.

writing their description.
- Tell the rest of the students that they get to
start writing their descriptions on the iPad and
that you have underlined and ticked the important
information in their research that they should
include in their description.
- Tell students that you are going to put please
stop by cards out, so they can just turn them if
they need help.
- Let the researching students go first by handing
their worksheets out and asking one student from
the pair to get an iPad.
- Let the rest of the students go and log on, get
into google classroom and start their description
slides.

- Walk around the room giving guidance to students
and checking wether the researching students have
enough information to stat writing.
- After 35 minutes get students to sit on the mat.

- Ask students for a mini show of thumbs to see how


they felt their descriptions were.
- Let them know what they will be working on next.

- Let students go to recess.

whether they have completed a description.
