INTRODUCTION

Technology plays an important role on human life. Even students face effects
in their daily performances thanks to technology, one issue may be their academic
performance. In Oasis Christian School, students are not the exception for this
technology effects, the research team was intrigued to know about the effect that
junior students get on academic performances because of technology. In order to
answer this problem and offer students feasible recommendations to use technology
in a right way, the researchers carried out an extensive study on this topic and all the
aspects it implicates compiled in five organized and well thought-out chapters.

First of all, researchers began by “Statement of the Problem” which describe

what the problem is since the the first steps began in February 2017, and the reasons
why the team conduct this investigation, in order to justify it. It also presents the
objectives and research question that guide the development of the investigation.

In the second chapter, “Theoretical Framework”, the research team present

theories and relevant information about the main topic and subtopics that are derive
from the main problem in order to get important effects that can be related to the junior
students effects in academic performance because of technology. The main purpose
of chapter two is to provide trustworthy information aimed at deriving concrete
conclusions from it.

As a third chapter, “Methodological Design”, is full with the procedures that the
researchers carry out in order to get a successful investigation. In this chapter the
research team explain the different tools used in order to get data with the objective
of knowing the effects that technology do on this junior students academic
performance. Also, this chapter presents all the processes followed so as to analyze
and interpret the collected data.

“Analysis and Interpretation of Data”, is the fourth chapter the research team
introduce the results of each tool done. The qualitative data is presented in well-
structured graphs. Each questions from the tools was asked with a purpose and the
team get the preliminary of each question in order to analyze the results and get data
to carry out the conclusions and recommendations which is the fifth chapter of the
research. Finally, this investigation covers the references and appendixes used during
the course of this study.
