A. Description of the Study

1. Rationale:
GFRG stands for Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum panels. Due
to landslides and heavy rains there are some infrastructures that
are being damage by the calamity and the affected families are
being sheltered in gyms or schools. But gyms and school are not
fit for using it as evacuation centers and the department of health
received many complaints from the public school officials. Using
rapid wall provides faster construction and it provides a solution
to many issues and concern.

2. Objectives of the Study:

2.1 General Objective/s

This study aims to gather data that could support the
effectiveness of using GFRG Panels for affordable rapid mass
housing/ evacuation houses.

2.2 Specific Objectives

a. To study and understand what GFRG Panel is and to identify its
system.
b. To study the impact of using GFRG Panels in rapid mass
housing/ evacuation houses.
c. To identify its advantages and disadvantages

3. Conceptual Framework

Panels

4. Methodology
This research helps us understand on how GFRG Panels
being used. It would also identify if GFRG Panels are effective
rapid housing/ evacuation houses. Researchers would research
deeper in this topic to know what else to improve for it to be
more effective.

5. Scope of Work (Expected Output)

Researchers’ expected to be able to make a affordable
quality housing, and will contribute to achieve social inclusive
development due to its various benefits.

6. Research Study Duration

The research is expected to be finished after one (1) school
year. It will also involve gathering data for documentation.

7. Approximate Budget to Complete the Study

The approximate budget of this research will not exceed the
researchers’ financial capacity.
