D. Conclusion (Cabinet Resolutions)

Based on the foregoing, the cabinet resolved to take the following

actions in a bid to ensure health services continue with no
disruption to residents:

 To withhold the June salaries of all those health workers

participating in the strike action by failing to report to work

 To terminate the services of all medical workers

participating in the on-going, illegal and unprotected strike

 To retain the 98 health workers engaged in the month of

June on contract basis to support the 251 medical
personnel who did not go on strike.

 To hire additional health workers as replacements for all

those on strike, should they continue with the illegal strike.
