SUBJECT:- ENHANCEMENT OF SALARY AND GRANTING OF OTHER FACILITIES (PASSAGE AND MEDICAL )
FOR AIRCRAFT TECHNICIANS (FTE)

Respected Sir,

We, newly recruited Aircraft Technicians (FTE) of AIESL joined in year 2017 whole heartedly thank you for
providing us the opportunity to work in an Esteemed organization and in glamorous industry like Aviation where
we are getting opportunity to learn and work on sophisticated machines. Also your kind attention is drawn
towards our salary structure which is recently fixed.

1) As per that we are paid a stipend of 15,000 P.m during our training period and upon completion of that
20,000(Under Revision) is fixed as our salary for a period of 5 years.
2) As our terms and conditions are completely different from that of previous employees we are not eligible
for all other additional benefits which they are availing. In this state we expect at least to be paid
sufficient salary to sustain as we are solely dependent on that only . Most of us being posted at stations
other than our native places survival with Rupees 20,000 is very difficult as some of them are even
required to send part of their salary to their respective families.
3) To bring to your Kind notice As per present standards even group C and D employees of PSU are paid
more than this. Also salary in other PSU’s for diploma trainee is higher than what we are being offered
( As Aircraft Technician falls under this category).
4) Keeping in view the fact that We being technically qualified (Diploma Holders, Engineering Graduates &
BAMEC holders) and duties which we are performing involves
i) Being Technically literate to read/understand/interpret technical literature
ii) Working in all sort of environment which involves dust/noise pollution etc.
iii) Compromising with timings and body cycle
iv) Handling heavy and sophisticated tools
v) Being active and ensuring Aircraft is turned around with in time along with AME.

Our salary structure should be re considered.

5) Sir, with reference to other recruitment advertisements published recently like handyman/ITI Fitter Etc
are offered salaries around Rs. 16,000/17,000 which are under revision. We being more qualified than
them and performing higher level of technical duties should be considered for a better pay as the
difference between them and us is only mere 3,000 rupees.
6) Even non technical persons are being recruited at an initial salary of Rs. 20000.
7) At time of our joining we all have signed Indemnity Bonds for amount of Rupees three lakhs for a period 3
years. As per that even if we want to quit organization we are supposed to pay liquidated damages to
company. Most of us being from middle class families cannot afford that huge amount that means we are
not left with any other option other than to serve the company. In this case at least if we are paid
sufficient salary none of us will have a second thought. We will be satisfactorily serving the company with
best team outputs.
8) With reference to above point here we would like to bring to your notice that most of other selected
candidates have not joined because of remuneration offered and Indemnity bond condition and some of
the candidates who joined have already resigned.
9) Sir as you are aware of the present standard of living conditions in metro cities and in even normal cities
survival with such a mere salary is a very big concern for all of us.

Keeping in view of all the above points we sincerely and humbly request you to consider our application and
view it sympathetically. We would be extremely grateful towards the organisation if our pay is revised to
40,000/- from present levels.

Also, we would request your kind self to grant us facilities as enjoyed by other employees, namely passage and
medical.

This is a sincere request from all of us, any positive approach from your side will motivate us to give our best
and 100 % output to the organization. None of us will be thinking to leave the organization instead we will be
working with all our sincere efforts and strive to give our best for the growth of organization.
