Lion and Rat

A lion tired after a Hunt,

sat down to rest and fell sound asleep
A rat came out from a near by Hole
He jumped and started running all over the Lion
The Lion awoke and caught the rat
He was very angry
Oh Lion King, Please Spare me
I will save you when you are in danger, pleaded the Rat
Ha ha ha, how will you save me ?

The Rat rushed into his hole

One day the Lion was trapped into a Hunter’s net
He tried to escape, but He Could not
He Roared Loudly
The Rat heard the Lion’s Roar
He Hurried to the Lion
The Rat tore the Net with his sharp teeth

Lion escaped from the net
Oh King of the Jungle, you let me live that day

The Fox and The Grapes
