has worked with industry, e.g. Australian Rail Track Corporation, CRC-ACS and Airbus
Limited, and is currently holding an international patent.

A/Prof. Ng makes active professional infuence worldwide through technical committees,

conference organisation, and journal and competitive grant refereeing. Notably, he is
Associate Editor (Asia and Pacifc) of Engineering Structures, and International Journal of
Structural Health Monitoring (IJSHM). He was also the Guest Editor of two special issues
focused on structural health monitoring of civil structures in the IJSHM and Earthquakes
and Structural An International Journal.

A/Prof. Ng is a member of Executive Committee of Australian Network of Structural Health

Monitoring (ANSHM), which is formed by more than 30 universities/government agencies
with the aim at promoting structural health monitoring research in Australia and worldwide.
