PURPOSE This document describes the process for customers that call direct extensions and how to retrieve a voicemail left by the customer.
DIRECT DIAL EXTENSIONS
Based on your business unit and role, you may have a direct dial number or extension for customers to call back. It is advised that your email signature include your extension, in order for your customer to contact you by phone if necessary.
Process for Customers
The customer experience for direct dial extension is reviewed below:
NOTE: If the extension is not found after two attempts, the call will disconnect.
VOICEMAIL If you are unavailable, your customers will be able to leave you a voicemail. The voicemail message will be delivered to your email. The email will show you the message in text. In addition, you will also have a link to listen to the voicemail. Review the image below to see a sample voicemail email.
Process to Retrieve a Voicemail
Use the steps below to listen to the customer’s voicemail. 1. Open the email title New Voice Message from <customer number>. 2. Click the CLICK HERE hyperlink to listen to the voicemail.
