July 17, Wed.- Bowmansville District Sewing Circle will meet at the Bowmansville
Mennonite Church in the morning and afternoon. The project for July is Infant Care Kits.
You are welcome to donate a complete kit, or donations of only gowns/sleepers (size 3-12
months; flannel or similar warm, soft material) are welcome. Infant Care Kit (new items
only; size 3-12 month): 3 gowns/sleepers (flannel or similar warm, soft material); 3
undershirts/onesies (short or long sleeves); 1 receiving blanket (lightweight fleece or flannel;
min. 30 inch x 30 inch); 4 large, heavy duty safety pins; 1 large bar mild soap (in wrapper); 1
pair socks; 1 hat. Items can be wrapped in the blanket and fastened with the safety pins.
Sewing Circle will see the kits are taken to MCC for distribution. Thank you!
July 21, Sun.-You are invited to attend the Outdoor Historical and Inspirational Service at the
1855 Allegheny Mennonite Meetinghouse, 39 Horning Road, Mohnton, PA (near
Alleghenyville) at 6:30 p.m. Lloyd Weiler, Manheim, will speak on a Weaverland Mennonite
Conference leader(1830-1906)and his wife: “The Life of Moses and Lavina Horning.”
Please bring a lawn chair and a copy of the Church and Sunday School Hymnal. For more

July 28-Aug. 2- Joy El will be hosting a week of camp at Camp Conquest in Denver. This
camp is offered to Bible Adventure students, but is also for any student in the 2 nd through 6th
grades. There are papers with information in the narthex or you can register at joyelcamps.org.
