JOYFUL LEARNING: ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODELS TO

IMPROVING STUDENT’S HAPPINESS

Abstract. The purpose of this paper to explain the happiness learning model in
developing student’s potential. Every human being has the potential in their self. the
potential of the human being developed through an optimal education. Currently, the
applied education focuses more on student learning or student center. Implementation
of student center learning will right facilitate students in learning. This is because
the student center learning in accordance with the needs of students and focuses on
the students themselves. However, in the learning process of the student is not just
learning ordinary or just formality, but need psychological attention from the students
themselves. During the learning process, students also need to feel excited and happy
to learn something. Happiness learning is learning to build a mentally healthy, pleasant
surroundings and so forth. Thus, students are not only focused on the subject matter but
also enjoy and interpret the lessons learned. Appropriate learning model will be able to
realize a happiness learning. We recommend Joyful learning, which is an alternative
learning that is not just learning in general, but also focusing on the student, and able to
create meaning in learning. Joyful learning was doing with several stages, starting from
creating a pleasant environment until mean in learning. In joyful learning, the teacher
is important to create a positive environment, which is supported by effective learning
media in the form of pictures or videos that applied learning more fun. From happiness
learning model will be able to enhance human potential optimally.

Abstrak. Tujuan penulisan ini untuk menjelaskan model pembelajaran yang


membahagiakan dalam mengembangkan potensi siswa. Setiap manusia memiliki potensi
diri yang perlu dikembangkan melalui pendidikan optimal yangberfokus pada siswa atau
student center learning. Penerapan student center learning akan lebih memudahkan
siswa dalam belajar dikarenakan sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan berfokus pada
siswa itu sendiri, sehinggaproses pembelajaran siswa tidak sebatas formalitas saja, tapi
memperhatikan psikologis dari siswa. Selama proses pembelajaran, siswa perlu merasa
senang dan bahagia dalam mempelajari sesuatu. Pembelajaran yang membahagiakan
dapat membangun mental yang sehat, dan lingkungan yang menyenangkan, sehingga
siswa dapat menikmati dan memaknai pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang sesuai,
akan mampu mewujudkan pembelajaran yang membahagiakan. Joyful learning dapat
menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang tidak sebatas belajar pada umumnya namun juga
berfokus pada siswa, dan mampu menciptakan pemaknaan dalam pembelajaran. Joyful
learning dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan, dimulai dari menciptakan lingkungan yang
menyenangkan, hingga pemaknaan dalam pembelajaran. Dalam implementasi
joyful learning, guru berperan penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan positif, efektif yang
didukung dengan berbagai media pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, dari pembelajaran
yang membahagiakan akan mampu meningkatkan potensi dalam diri manusia secara
optimal.

The method used is a literature study (review). Data / information obtained from the literature and
arranged based on research data / information obtained. Literature used includes books, invitations to
legislation, conference papers, proceedings, print publications and online editions, research and
scientific articles sourced from the internet. The data obtained varies types, qualitative and quantitative
measures. The data collected is selected and sorted according to the research topic. Then do the
preparation of papers based on the data that has been prepared logically and systematically. The data
analysis technique is descriptive argumentative. This writing is done by looking at relevance and
synchronization between data and other data / information according to the topic being studied.

of the problem, the purpose of writing, and discussion. Conclusions are interested in presenting the

not find themselves in serious or stressful situations. In pleasant learning, students will be more
interested and more optimizing what is in students. In addition, the joy of learning fun will be accepted
by students and students themselves will enjoy learning provided by the teacher. In addition, through

Conclusion
Based on the above, it can be concluded that the importance of positive psychology in students will

In realizing education that can increase student happiness, there are several things that need to be
considered one of which is the learning model provided. There are various models that can be applied
to create, atmosphere, pleasant learning has become an appropriate learning model. From this this
method is expected to increase happiness from students during the learning process provided by the
teacher. A fun learning model that contains a learning process in the form of songs, games, surveys,
storytelling, and the use of toy education. From various types of learning, students will enjoy the learning

Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur (review). Data / informasi diperoleh dariliteratur dan
disusun berdasarkan penelitian data / informasi yang diperoleh. Literatur digunakan termasuk buku,
undangan undang-undang, makalah konferensi, prosiding, jurnaledisi cetak dan edisi online, hasilartikel
penelitian dan ilmiah bersumber dari internet. Data yang diperoleh bervariasi jenis, ukuran kualitatif dan
kuantitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan dipilih dan diurutkan sesuai dengan topik penelitian. Lalu lakukan
penyusunan makalah berdasarkan data itu telah disiapkan secara logis dan sistematis. Teknik analisis
data adalah deskriptif argumentatif. Penulisan ini dilakukan oleh melihat relevansi dan sinkronisasi
antara data dengan data / informasi lainnya sesuai dengan topik yang sedang dipelajari.

mempengaruhi keefektifan pembelajaran disediakan. Dari semua ini, harus menjadi model
pembelajaran yang menyenangkanmampu mengoptimalkan potensi siswa dan efektivitas
pembelajaran yang ada. Ini dikonfirmasi oleh Anggoro (2017) yang mengatakan itu persepsi Joyful
adalah pengaruh positif pada motivasi peserta didik. Yunianto (dalam Aji, 2014) juga menyimpulkan
bahwa pembelajaran berbasis belajar yang menyenangkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses
pembelajaran. Pasti itu landasan bahwa "belajar yang menyenangkan" harus dapat lebih
mengoptimalkan pembelajaran yang ada dan dilakukan oleh siswa. Dalam pembelajaran yang

sehingga guru akan menjadi sepenuhnya akrab dengan kondisi dan kelas lingkungan siswa. Kemudian
tahap kedua adalah tahap pelaksanaan. Implementasi ini adalah rencana berbasis yang dipersiapkan
sebelumnya. untukMisalnya, seorang guru berencana untuk melatih siswa kreativitas melalui
permainan. Guru kelas lakukan sesuai dengan perencanaan sebelumnya, misalnya, guru meminta

dilakukan untuk mengetahui kebahagiaan para siswa itu sendiri. Kemudian pada tahap terakhir adalah
guru untuk mengevaluasi apa yang telah dilakukannya. Prestasi dari tujuan pengajaran, pembelajaran
menjadi indikator keberhasilan. Apalagi dari sini akan menjadi tingkat kebahagiaan siswa yang telah
melalui berbagai tahapan belajar, sehingga dari sini akan ditentukan bagian mana yang perlu
ditambahkan, dikurangi dan dikoreksi untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran model pembelajaran yang
menyenangkan. Ini akan membantu para guru untuk membuat pembelajaran yang menyenangkan
lebih efektif dan lebih menyenangkan. Dari kegiatan belajar yang menyenangkan seperti contoh di atas,
diharapkan bisa dibuat proses yang menyenangkan. Siswa tidak menemukannyadiri mereka dalam
situasi serius atau stres.dalam pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, siswa akan lebih tertarik dan lebih
