borrowers with highest amounts
of outstanding debt as of April
2019
Based on available data reported under CRILC
by Scheduled Commercial Banks to RBI-DBS as
on Feb 28, 2019, the data on Funded Amount
Outstanding of Top 30 borrowers and the data on
Gross NPA Amount of Top 30 NPA borrowers is
given in Annex.

[Note: Regarding available data of borrowers with

exposure of 5 crore and above reported by
banks to RBI-DBS, it is informed that RBI collects
various credit information under Section 27(2) of
the BR Act 1949 and Section 45 (C) of the RBI
Act 1934. As per Section 28 of the BR Act, RBI
can only disclose information collected under
Section 27 (2) of the Act in such consolidated
manner as it deems fit. In terms of Section 45 (E)
of RBI Act, RBI is prohibited from disclosing credit
information except under certain conditions as
stated in the Act.]
