Top 4 players will represent Chennai District in the Open, Women & Rapid TN St.
Chess Championships.

Rules and Regulations :

1. Only Registered Players of Chennai District can participate.

2. Chennai District Selection for Senior Open & Women Chess Championships.

3. CDCA Registration fee for the year 2017-18 is Rs.100/- per Player.

4. SYSTEM OF PLAY: - The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of chess & FIDE
Swiss System with 7 Rounds. Time control will be 45 minutes each.

5. The 1st Round will begin at 09.00 AM (sharp) on 1.4.2017. The Round-wise schedule
shall be announced at the Tournament Hall.
6. Latest FIDE Rapid Chess rules will be applicable with suitable tie break system.

7. The decision of the Chief Arbiter will be final and binding on all the players.

8. The organizers of the tournament reserve the right to make necessary changes in rules pertaining to
the tournament

9. Smoking /Drinking is strictly prohibited in the premises of tournament.

10. Please bring your own International Chess Set (and Chess Clock, if any)

11. RIGHTS OF ADMISSION:- Any players who had played unauthorized tournament listed by All
India Chess Federation are not allowed to participate in this tournament.

12. Participation Certificate will be provided to all the participants.

13. Two Wheelers Parking only allowed inside School.

14. Entry Fee: Rs.200/- per Player.
