MODEL C650D - DTH BLASTHOLE DRILL

SPECIFICATIONS

RATED CAPACITY Nominal hole size 6 1/2” (165 mm) by DTH Method,

Total depth capacity: Around 11 – 12 meters.

STANDARD Under Carriage Triple grouser tracks with adequate no. of

MOUNTING bottom rollers and carrier rollers each side. Independent hydraulic motor with
Planetary gearbox drive for each track. Propel speed is 2.4 KMPH on plains
and 1.2 KMPH on grades. Gradeability up to 25% grades with Mast down.

PULLDOWN AND Pull down is achieved through twin hydraulic motors and roller chain
HOIST arrangement.
Electrically welded square and rectangular section steel mast of robust
MAST
construction to withstand adverse drilling conditions Mast is raised and
lowered by two hydraulic cylinders with safety check valves.
Hydraulic locks are provided to hold the mast secured in vertical drilling
position.

Axial piston hydraulic motor driven top head drive through spur gear
ROTARY HEAD
reduction with a constant torque of 40,000 Inch-pounds at 0-120 RPM
infinitely variable speed. A shock sub is provided to prevent the hammering
vibrations transmitted to the rotary head.
Screw compressor with a capacity of 750 CFM at 250 PSI. Air oil receiver,
AIR COMPRESSOR
Oil cooler, Oil filter and safety valves are provided as
standard.
Cummins India make engine NTA 855C running @ 1800 RPM and
PRIME MOVER
drives screw compressor from the flywheel and a set of hydraulic pumps
from the front PTO. Fuel tank capacity: 900 lit.
Hydraulically operated single rod loader.
DRILL PIPE
Fully automatic Hydraulic power breakout wrench and stem wrench are
HANDLING provided as standard.

HYDRAULIC
Open loop hydraulic system for propel, rotation, feed, fan, auxiliary circuits.
SYSTEM
Axial piston variable volume pump for tram circuit and for rotation circuit.
Axial piston fixed volume pump for feed circuit.
Tandem gear pump for fan circuit and auxiliary circuit.
Hydraulic oil reservoir with suction strainers and 10 micron return line filters.
Relief valves in all circuits.

Three hydraulic jacks - one front 125 MM bore, 48” stroke two rear 125 MM
LEVELLING JACKS
bore, 36” stroke equipped with heavy duty telescopic guide tubes and lock
check valves for safety.

Ergonomically designed, spacious, thermal insulated, air-conditioned modular
OPERATOR’S CAB
FOPS cabin with centralised controls, logically arranged for ease of
operation. The cabin equipped with adjustable, swivel seat for operator’s
comfort.

Hydraulic Motor driven winch of adequate capacity is provided for handling

LUBRICATOR

Fully automatic pneumatically operated centralised lubrication system for
