GEOMETRIC PROGRESSION

A geometric progression is a series of numbers starting at 𝑎 and the next term is the previous term
multiplied by a common ratio 𝑟.

It follows that progression is 𝑎, 𝑎𝑟, 𝑎𝑟 2 , 𝑎𝑟 3 … … … . 𝑎𝑟 𝑛

If we add 𝑛 terms together we have a geometric series.
