Course description Philosophy and basic knowledge on research procedures, steps of planning a research project, selecting appropriate research design, sample size calculation and data analysis, ethical issues in biomedical science, epidemiological, and social research, research project planning, developing a proposal. 8. Course objectives After completion of this course, students will be able to 1. Plan appropriate research design and method according to research theory and philosophy. 2. Develop research proposal following the ethical principles. 3. Make effectively and efficiently use of literatures 4. Work in the team and have responsibility for the assignment. 5.
