COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provides discussions on the fundamental characteristics of extension programs in the basic and higher education. It aims to
present the relationships between the school and the community and the establishment and maintenance of a positive and healthy collaboration.
The graduate students will be exposed on ways to design effective academic extension activities taking into consideration the sustainability of
these programs and the impact of these activities to the teaching-learning process.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course envisions graduate students who complete the course as an educational leader who promotes the success of all students by
his/her competence to:
1. Design effective instructional plan in learning community
2. Collaborate with industry and community for teaching and learning.

COURSE METHODOLOGIES
This course shall adopt the lecture-discussion, online, modular method in those topics that are highly theoretical, group discussion for
critiquing individual outputs (per session), problem solving, case analysis, individual readings or independent learning, as well as research
symposium.

Since the requirements of the course are all challenging, the professor has assigned the median score (from the total score) to be equivalent
to 85.00 % and 98.00 % for student who obtained a perfect score. The professor uses linear regression to find out the grade of students.
