INTRODUCTION

Indonesia is a unitary state in the form of a republic. This reflects Indonesia's

ideological meaning and meaning for a country or nation that has a function as a
view of life and as a direction for all life and livelihoods in various aspects of
people's lives. Generally political history based on the state administration of a
country, politics is used to regulate and at the same time to limit state power. In
politics it can be seen the system of government, the shape of the country, the
system of control between state power, guarantees the rights of citizens and no
less important regarding the division of power between elements of the state's
power.1

Politics is a study that is already old, perhaps as old as the age of man
itself which is arranged based on facts, systematic, and proven to be universal in
nature, so it is not surprising when many parties pay attention and explore the
political science. Politics according to language is something related to power,
this definition is conveyed by Harold lass Well. So it can simply be interpreted as
"Who Gets What, When, and How".2

Politics in Indonesia were carried out by several western scientists

including Herbert Feith and Clifford Geetz. In a political culture a society will be
determined by the elements in the community. Hildred Greetz, grouping the
community into three subcultures called the sociocultural type which became
farmers in the interior of Java and Bali, the Coastal Islamic Community, and the
Mountain Society.3

If the word politics is associated with Islam, Islamic politics is a political

activity of some Muslims who make Muslims as a reference for values and a basis
for group solidarity. Supporters of Islamic politics are not necessarily all Muslims
(Muslims), therefore the political categories can be referred to as Islamic political

groups, also emphasizing religious symbolism in politics, such as using the

symbol of Islam. This is consistent with the basic concept of politics in Indonesia.

The people of Indonesia in Indonesia must be formed with a high social

sense because humans live with natural instincts and unlimited freedoms that
encourage people to shape social life and ties between fellow citizens so that it
will form a pattern of the creation of prosperous sovereignty. On the other hand,
political life activity policies can cover various kinds of implementation from the
authorities that are accepted by the community.4

A fair and democratic system of government will present a more effective

government. Fair is balance.5 In a fair system of government, there is a balance
between authority and restrictions. between support and supervision, between
coalition support and opposition control. Therefore, the government must
establish a very strict regulatory policy in every violation of conduct that harms
other people and the state.

The policy here is to develop society in a directed manner through the use
of power in politics.6 Therefore, politics must be upheld and developed to the
fullest. In this case, there needs to be a strategic effort by prioritizing aspects of
people's lives in the implementation to step in the glorious period and the results
produced for the sovereignty of the nation.7

DISCUSSION

Political Dynasties Threat of National Unity

The political threat in the country in the field of ideology is the understanding of
all the propaganda that condemns the Pancasila ideology. This can be seen from
the view that propaganda can be sourced from the initial political steps that
govern it. From the political case, such as the existence of a maker of actions
which is better known as a coup, namely the use of force in the form of

mobilizing the masses to overthrow a ruling government, or mobilize political

power to weaken the power of the government. In addition, the threat of
integration in the form of separatism is another form of political threat that arises
in the country. From abroad, threats in the political field are carried out by a
foreign country by carrying out political pressure on Indonesia.8

Therefore, it is necessary to develop political democracy to activate civil

society in the political arena so as to strengthen public trust by establishing clean
and authoritative governance so as to strengthen Indonesia's position in the
international political arena which is to develop a national political system based
on democratic people.

Referring to article 1 of Law No. 2 of 2011 states "Political Parties are

national organizations and are formed by a group of Indonesian citizens
voluntarily on the basis of the same will and ideals to fight for and defend the
political interests of members, society, nation and state, and maintain the integrity
of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia based on Pancasila and the 1945
Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia ".9

From various political polemics, there needs to be a big step towards

improving politics in the future. The step in question is a transformation in
politics. given the importance of political existence in this democracy, politics
must be transformed to continue the reform agenda. Transformation is done to
reconstruct damaged politics and then build new ones.10

Political Difference: Unity in Diversity The

Nation of Indonesia is a multicultural nation. The elements that make up the

Indonesian nation consist of various ethnic groups, various kinds of customs,
cultures and religions, and dwell in an area consisting of thousands of islands.

This diversity is not a condition that must be contested. It is precisely this

diversity that can lead to attractiveness towards a collaboration that can strengthen
the unity and unity of the Indonesian nation.11

Bhineka tunggal ika neutralizes political differences. Political activities

have enormous advantages including playing a role in democracy, having a large
role in the development of government, and the tendency to grow in
regionalism.12 This argument states that an effective state is very important to
guarantee the interests of marginalized communities and the very anarchist
countries and world political nations in this liberalization era.

Maturity by self-introspection of each voter that more than one political

choice makes his choice of two or more different choices of reality must be
accepted.13 So this awareness, diversity is a part of ordinary dynamics and does
not have to be addressed with actions that are counterproductive, but it is better to
use the method of maturity rationality to face these differences.

The diverse political identity in Indonesia must be considered by the

Indonesian government so that the existence of tribal identity politics does not
disturb the spirit of nationalism. The impact of the existence of identity politics
can strengthen the existing nationalism in Indonesia with the existence of a form
of national identity politics that upholds the value of unity and unity in diversity.
So from the attitude of nationalism and identity politics must be accompanied by a
steadfast national solidarity attitude.

This attitude, in order to achieve strong national solidarity will give birth
to a stable society order and mutual respect and feel of having one individual with
another individual. Therefore, identity politics in the unity of diversity of
Indonesia makes it a symbol of high nationalism solidarity.14

Factor Participation in Democracy in the Life of Communities

Democracy has complex demands. Democracy is very diverse about forms and
institutions15 that must exist in a democratic government but also, requires the
protection of freedom, respect for the law of rights, and guarantees free thinking
in the distribution of fair commentary news and the realization of programs that
are based on certain ideologies.16

Political participation is the activity of ordinary citizens in influencing the

process of making and implementingpublic policiesand in determining the
leadership of a government through a regular and democratic general election.17
Politics also opens opportunities to encourage and encourage other members of
society to use politics as a channel for activities that influence the political
process. Thus, politics is a forum for political participation.

Political relations and democratization depend on each other. Politics that

have an important impact on the development of democracy and public policy
democratization which are the ends of implemestasi will not run smoothly from
the improvement of democracy.18 If it is not supported by the form of political
development with appropriate teachings on the principles of democracy. As a
result, the impact of politics alone causes social problems to arise in the
community.19

An harmonious and civilized society does not presuppose the government.

The more perfect the civilization, the more it is not needed by the government.
The community can take care and govern themselves. Order and security naturally
exist in civilized societies. The government does not have to take care of defense
because humans already have a natural mechanism to reduce the potential for

security disturbances, which is marked by the emergence of joint meetings to

create joint security.

This needs to be reviewed because a change in a political policy in a

country can have a major impact on the politics of democracy towards society in
general which is closely related to government and the political and security
situation in a country or region.

Conclusion

Explanation above is an observation of the impact of political differences that

threaten the people of this country. Political differences as one of the factors that
influence society. From the existing problems, a factual idea is needed, but it
needs to be applied conceptually. Democracy as a handle aspect for civil society
owned by the Indonesian people which is used as a role model for the state. In this
case, it can be done with a family approach through the concept of implementing
clinical values in communication activities and relationships that exist in
democracy. Furthermore, the community approach is a form of self-awareness of
the importance of democracy that is part of politics.

The above efforts are a form of neutralizing the state from the impact of
political differences, so that it will create a moderate system that tends to the birth
of a nation that is peaceful in society. But still adhering to the values and ideology
of this nation. But to stabilize the above efforts, the role of all parties is needed,
from the community to the government. The government must carry out politics
based on democracy and national values for citizens so as not to cause adverse
effects on society due to political differences that harm society, so that the process
of reciprocity in maximum cooperation will be created, as well as describing
democratic life values.
