RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE OPENING OF A CURRENT ACCOUNT FOR THE

SANGGUNIANG KABATAANN BARANGAY OF ANNAFUNAN EAST, TUGUEGARAO CITY TO THE
LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES TUGUEGARAO BRANCH, TUGUEGARAO CITY AND
DESIGNATING AUTHORIZED CHECK SIGNATORIES.

On May 26, 2019, the Sangguniang Kabataan Barangay of Annafunan East,

Tuguegarao City agreed to open a current account with the LAND BANK OF THE
PHILIPPINES Tuguegarao City Branch.

WHEREAS, In accordance with Section 20(a) of the SK Reform Act of 2015

(Republic Act [RA] No. 10742), ten percent (10%) of the general fund of
the barangay shall be set aside for the SK. The sangguniang barangay shall

appropriate the SK funds in lump-sum,which shall be disbursed solely for

youth development and empowerment purposes.

Furthermore, section 20 (b) of the same law provides that the SK shall
have financial independence in its operations, disbursements, and
encashment of their fund, income and expenditures.

NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration and as unanimously accorded among

the members of the Sangguniang Kabataan Barangay of Annafunan East,
Tuguegarao City, it is hereby resolved the following:

1. To authorize the Sangguniang Kabataan Barangay of Annnafunan East,

Tuguegarao City to open and maintain a current account with LAND BANK OF
THE PHILIPPINES Tuguegarao Capitol Branch Tuguegarao City.

a. Deposit and withdraw from the depository account, in whatever

forms and manner, ans in such amount as the Sangguniang Kabataan may
deem appropriate or necessary;
b. Close the depository accoount and ask, demand, sue for, collect
and receive the proceeds of the depository account in the name of the
Sangguniang Kabataan;
c. Receive, accept, endorse and negotiate all checks, drafts, orders
of payment payable to the Sangguniang Kabataan or its order which may
require the Sangguniang Kabataan endorsement.

2. To designate authorized check signatories , as folows:

3. That this resolution remains effective and subsisting and has not
been amended, revoked, or suspended.
4. That a copy of this Board Resolution be furnised to LAND BANK OF THE
PHILIPPINES, Capitol Branch Tuguegarao City, Barangay Government of ,
DILG, Provincial Office, Region 2, Tuguegarao City.
