I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, 100% of the pupils are expected to achieve 90%
proficiency to:
A. Identify the buyer and the seller.
B. Apply the characteristics of the buyer and the seller.
C. Appreciate the importance of buyer and seller in the market
III. STRATEGY:
A. Preliminary Activities
1. Opening prayer, greetings
2. Checking of attendance and/or assignment
3. Drill: Ask Students if what they observe inside the market
4. Review: Give the characteristics needed of successful entrepreneur
B. Developmental Activities
1. Motivation:
“PINOY HENYO”
The teacher will choose two persons to play the activity. The mechanism
is to predict the word that is on the head of their classmates.
3. Word Enrichment:
Entrepreneur – a person who organizes and operates a business.
Business – is the activity of making one's living or making money by
producing or buying and selling products.
Purchase – acquire (something) by paying for it; buy.
4. Learning Experiences:
4.1 Discuss the examples of Buyer and Seller and their roles.
1. The BUYER
Is a person that acquires possession or right to the use or services in
exchange for payment usually money.
The Person who buys good and services from the seller.
The consumer who makes use of the goods to meet his/her needs or wants
and those of his family.
2. The SELLER
The owner of the store or business establishment- offers goods, products, or
services to those who need it.
They sell products, goods, or services at a specified amount called his
selling price.
They must learn the art of selling need.
3. Producers
Are those who plant and harvest products as in the case of fruits and
vegetables.
4. Manufacturers
Are those who convert raw materials into finished products such as canned
foods.
5. Wholesalers
Those who buy from manufacturers or producers in big bulk then sell these
in retail to owners or sari-sari stores, groceries, or mobile stores.
6. Seller as Buyer
A seller is also a buyer because he needs to buy goods or products he/she
will sell.
He buys from either manufacturer or the producer of the goods or from
wholesale middlemen.
The seller must have a good and sound buying program so he can get the
most profit and give the best service to his customers by offering good
quality goods or products.

The students learned to recognized who is the buyer and seller and why
they are important in our community.
