This plan is designed to give new Renatus Students and ITA/IMAs an outline for starting their
business. Renatus students & IMAs created it as an additional resource. It is not required to
use this outline/plan and results from using this will vary. This document was not created by
Renatus LLC and is not part of the education or your IMA agreement with Renatus. The
creators and distributors of this form cannot take credit for the successes or failures of those
who use this outline.

Calendar your business building time
It’s critical that you plan your day. Get out your calendar and set aside a minimum of
30 minutes to 1 hour per day. This is your Renatus Business Power Hour where your
focus is entirely on making contacts/networking (building your Power Team), making
offers, on the phone with prospects (pay time). Results vary depending on the
amount of time you put into building your business.

Set up your AMP/business cards
Review sample business cards in your business center located under the
Communications Tab > Advertising Materials. Consider creating one for your real
estate business & IMA business. It CAN be the same card. Get creative - you are
an entrepreneur!

Identify your IMA business target market:
Who do you want to work with? Who are you compelled to share your message
with and help? Before you set out to build your business, it’s important to know
whom you want to work with or in other words, who is your target market?

After having a better understanding of your target market, research and build a
list of 50+ people you would like to connect with and potentially work with (also
covered in 10 Step Training).

Choose Lead Sources
Choose 5-7 lead generating sources to reach your target market. Schedule time
each week to create/maintain those lead generation sources. Create and
implement your lead generating sources! Don't get caught up in preparing, place
some marketing material and see the results. You will constantly be fine-tuning
your advertisements to reach your target audience most effectively.

Identify your real estate target market/strategy. Strive to complete this within your
first 30 days:
Complete your Real Estate Essentials and Creative Acquisitions class, located within the
Renatus Essentials Course.

Build your Power Team by contacting 3-5 different individuals each week and interview
them briefly. Meet with them if necessary and make them aware of your real estate goals.
It is imperative to your business that you build your network.
