and also the celebrator’s niece.
A few reminders before we begin, please

And to start our celebration, may I request Cecille
everyone to please stand up for the Espiritu invocation to be led by Ms. Cecille Espiritu.
Thank you, Ms. Cecille. You may now take
your seats. 6:05 Former US president Lincoln once wrote, “[And] in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. [But] the life in your years.” Tonight, we celebrate both the 50 years and the life of my dear Tita Liberty Meehan.
Once again, good evening everyone. All of
us gathered here have been a part of Liberty’s life – one way or another, big or small man yan it has made a huge impact on where she is right now. Let us be with the celebrator as she shares with us the profound blessings she has received over the years. Tonight is all about Ms. Liberty Meehan. 6:10 Grand introduction of Liberty Meehan
Born on January 30, 1969 in Caloocan to
Oscar and Victorina Espiritu, our celebrator is the youngest of the 5 children. She attended Torres High School in her secondary years and went to Metropolitan Hospital College where she took up Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Growing up, our celebrator has been very hardworking. Living in a not so thriving area in Valenzuela, she often experienced flooded roads on her way to school. She must ride a banca, walk with her legs submerged in the water and just change to her uniform when she arrives at school. She also opted do side work in order not to further burden her family for school expenses. However, those minor setbacks never really stopped her drive to graduate with flying colors. After graduation, she worked as a ward nurse at Metropolitan Hospital as her first job. She then moved to Ireland on June 16, 2000 to start a new life and further her career. There, she met the love of her life, Nicholas Meehan and together they were blessed with two lovely kids, Nicholas Lee and James Peter. Currently, she is working as a nurse in Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital. Being dedicated to her family and career, our dear celebrator deserves this night to celebrate her special day with the people who mattered to her the most. Friends and family, let us welcome, the lady of the hour, Ms. Liberty Espiritu Meehan. 6:13 Speech of Liberty Meehan 6:20 Game No. 1

6:35 12 Roses (Guns ‘N Roses)
See, Tita Libay, you are surrounded by
people who really love you. We have with us here tonight the people who would like to personally greet you. So paanong Guns ‘N Roses? A rose will be given to the celebrator before giving their message, pwedeng sabihin yung good memories and unforgettable moments with her. Of course, everyone is very eager to know more about you. So again, tell all the best parts about her with the rose and unknown fun facts about her with the gun! So we’re expecting na ma-roast ka sa upuan mo na rin. Let’s get the ball rolling,
1. First, we have her classmate from
Metropolitan Hospital College of Nursing who now works at _______. Ano kaya ang masasabi niya? Ladies and gentlemen, Ms. Yolanda Chan.
Thank you, Ms. Yolly.
2. Next is also Libay’s friend from
college, who now works at _______. A friend through thick and thin, please welcome, Ms. Rosemarie Lin.
Thank you, Ms. Rose.
3. A friend in faith will always be with you whatever path you take. Thankfully, our birthday celebrator was blessed with one. Please welcome, Ms. Rafelou Agbayani.
Thank you, Ms. Rafelou.
4. An aunt serves as a safe haven for
a child. Why? Because only an aunt can give hugs like a mother. All the way from Los Angeles, please give a round of applause for Ms. Olivia Valentin.
Thank you, Tita Olive.
5. Having an uncle is like having
another father, a great coach, a favourite teacher and a big brother – all rolled into one. Even in his 80’s, he can always give our celebrator the lesson she’ll be needing in life. Please welcome, Mr. Elias Fernando.
Thank you, Tito Elias.
6. A sister is a little bit of childhood that
can never be lost. Having a sister means you always have a back up. And I’m sure you both have lots of memories like that. Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to call, the 4th among the 5 Espiritu children, Ms. Eleanor Manuel. Thank you, Tita Ellen.
7. Alam nyo ba, being a brother is
better than being a superhero. To give a heartfelt speech, please welcome, Mr. Zaldy Espiritu.
Thank you, Tito Dy.
8. Tita Libay is blessed with three older
sisters, we have heard the speech of Tita Ellen.
Thank you, Tita Tin.
9. An older sister will always be your
friend and defender. She will also share your sorrows. And she will also lead you back when you get off- track. A respectable older sister is like a mother with whom you can depend on. You may not always meet eye-to-eye but an older sister will never give you an advice that will lead to your demise. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, a mother of three and Liberty’s oldest sister, Ms. Patricia Katipunan.
Thank you, Ms. Amor.
10. The bond between mother and son
is special. Having a child makes you realize the importance of life. Pretty sure heaven on earth is whenever Tita Libay looks at her son. For a cute but loving message, I would like to call on Tita Libay’s youngest, James Peter “Jepoy” Meehan.
Thank you, Jepoy.
11. A mother’s prayer is so powerful
that it will cling to her child all her life. She’d be the gentle arms that embraces her children and shield them from danger and sorrow. A mother’s love can never be measured. A mother’s love will never be undone. And of course, none of the children would be here with us if not for their dear Mama Nene, please welcome Mrs. Victorina Espiritu.
Thank you, Mama.
12. They say Marriage is a relationship
in which one person is always right and the other is the husband! Is that right everyone? Nah, I’m just kidding. My Tita Libay has with her a husband that made her laugh, wiped her tears, hugged her tight, watched her succeed and even seen her fail but has never stopped from cheering her on. To give the 12th rose, please give a round of applause to Mr. Nicholas James Meehan.
Thank you, Uncle Nicky. And again
thank you, everyone, for sharing those sweet messages to our dear Tita Libay. 6:50 Raffle
What an emotional scene/part of the
program that has been. But hey, we’re meant to be having fun so to get back on track, let us have our raffle draw with a twist. We’re not doing this the traditional way but instead, I would like to request everyone to look under your chairs and check for this logo!
Congratulations! Please approach our
game master later. 7:05 AVP
Again, Tita Libay, since this night is simply
dedicated to you, your family and friends prepared a little something for you. Hindi man nila araw-araw nasasabi sa’yo kung gano ka nila na-aappreciate, they now grabbed this opportunity to let you know how they feel about you for being a part of their lives.
Everyone, please direct your attentions to
the screen for this audio-visual presentation. 7:20 Blowing of Candles
As in every birthday celebration, we have
the blowing of the candles. May I request Tita Libay’s family to join her onstage as we sing her a happy birthday. 7:30 Dinner
I would like to use this quote from the
famous John Lennon, “Count your age by friends, not by years. Count your life by smiles, not tears.” Ngayong gabi we had the chance to celebrate her life and all its blessings. We see another year in her life filled with happiness, love and joy surrounded by her family and friends.
Again, HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY
TITA LIBERTY.
One of the most important part for tonight is
enjoying each other’s company over the sumptuous buffet dinner prepared for us. May I request everyone to please stand for the prayer before meals,
“Bless us, oh Lord, and these thy gifts which
we are about to receive from thy bounty through Christ our Lord. Amen.”
Before we proceed to the buffet tables, Ms.
Liberty Meehan will be going around the tables to have your pictures taken. Para po mas maayos and mas mabilis, you may proceed with the buffet table after having your pictures taken.
We will also open the photobooth from 7:30
to 9:30pm as we have our dinner.
Ms. Liberty, you may now take your photos
with Table No. 1. / Table 2 / Table 3 / Table 4 / Table 5 / Table 6 and finally Table 7. As we have our dinner, we will be serenaded by Mr. Kyle Chen, followed by Ms. Olivia Valentin, Mr. Rizaldy Espiritu and Mr. Alfred Chen 8:30 May we request our celebrator to open the dance floor! Get your disco groove on!
Now, we would like to open the dancing to
everyone!
And once more, I am Hazel Katipunan-
Venzon, at your humble service. Thank you everyone and let’s get our grooves on. 9:50 EXIT
