REFLECTION MODUL 1 LA 2

REFLECTION/SUMMARY

In this activity, I have learned more about announcement. They are spoken and also
written announcement. So that I can be more understanding about each social function. In
this section, I am also required to analyze the differences and similarities between a
number of announcement from varied contexts of situation, in regard to the social
functions, text structures, and lexico-grammatical features both spoken and written
announcement. In the last task, I learn how to construct an announcement according to
the context of situation, social function, text structure, and lexico-grammatical
features.
The key features of announcement is social function, Generic structure, sixnificant
Lexico-Grammatical features. The social function of announcement is to share planned /
arranged activities/ agensda. The generic structure is Heading/Purpose and detail
information, lexico-grammatical feature is using common expression, singular/plural
pronoun and pronounciation, punctuation makr, intonation and spellings.
What I like most about this activity is sharing our agenda both orally and written and
creating announcement in task 7 based on the situation given.
What I need to improve/learn more is creating both written and spoken annoncement in
English with the various types.
