Women in Business
Because the company has many areas of work that require great physical strength,
heavy machinery, forced labor and under pressure, in addition to not having a stable
schedule; Dominican women do not apply to them thanks to these conditions.
Therefore, most of the jobs are occupied by the male gender.

Solution:
Total staff training, as well as incentive payments to women who have rotating
schedules; In addition, the use of instructions for machinery that require international
norms or standards.

Production
Different problems were found in the production area of the company in question,
which are causes that generate negative effects in the production process.
The main results of this study are the balancing of lines and the adjustment of
workloads, derived from a study of times and movements to increase the
productivity of the company through the implementation of changes in work
methods.

Solution:
Improve the processes of planning and control of the production of the company,
this implementing and maintaining a proposal for continuous improvement. In this
way the productivity of the company in question would be improved.
Logistics
The present problem is developed in an industrial company of 34 million dollars of
turnover and that has the firm desire to align its logistics and warehouse management
towards a philosophy just in time / lean manufacturing.

Solution:
After the diagnosis, the solution was raised with three basic lines of work. Based on
the strategy and the desired positioning, and having the process area as the central
axis, solutions were designed such as:

 Process reengineering
 Redesigns of physical warehouses
 Data collection system

Quality
Modern management is very committed to give a continuous response to the
demands of an environment that is increasingly dynamic, turbulent and
unpredictable.

The company does not know how to avoid or minimize the cost overruns and
customer complaints appear.

The quality management system is the set of interrelated standards of a company or


organization by which the quality of the same is managed in an orderly manner.
Always having as objective, the search of the satisfaction of its clients. Therefore, it
is necessary to be able to improve quality quickly.
Solution:
The solution to this problem is to apply the essential quality tools. We implement a
series of measures and actions aimed at minimizing or avoiding cost overruns to
avoid customer complaints.
