Summit or NAS 2019

 Business and Research Decisions

This topic is a very interesting one. Nowadays, most of the
people are business minded so having a knowledge on this one will
help many people. The content of this topic widens the knowledge
of each participant on how to make an effective decision that
will have a great impact on their businesses. Before establishing
a business, you have to conduct a research first on the
possibility that your business will survive and succeed in a long
run and because many business owners are lack of knowledge
regarding their businesses so they did not succeed. Also, have a
study about your competitors, it is better to know what kind of
competition you are in so that you can be able to come up with a
strategy that can lift up your business. And conduct also a study
regarding your chosen market or possible customers of your
business so that you will know if there are customers that will
patronize your business. Making a wise move of conducting a
research first will help you to come up with a right decision if
the business will be a great idea or if you are really suitable
to run a business like that. Researching is a way of finding a
reason on what to do or not, because in the future all those
decisions will have a great impact on you.

 21st Century Leadership

We should know what kind of leader you have to be. This
topic is applicable to everyone, in our chosen industry there
should always be a one that will stand as a leader. This
enlightened up our minds of what kind of leader are you or what
kind of leader you want to become. Leadership is not about
directing people of what to do, it is a way of leading people to
be the best of himself. A leader is the one that can affect the
lives of his people or subordinates because if not you are not a
leader.

 Investments
This is one of the topics I waited in this NAS. Investing
is really a great help to each one of us. Instead of leaving your
money in the bank, why not invest it because this will make your
money earn more. But before you invest, you should have a
knowledge regarding investments. You have to know the
establishments that is really eligible to invest with because
there are some companies that are scammers. You should put also
in your minds, if you invest in a specific company are you going
to make a profit or not. Investing is not that easy, you have to
make some sacrifices if you really want to earn.

2. Enumerate what you liked least in the NAS 2019 and your suggestions
for further improvement for each of the items you liked least.
 Basics of Data Science
This is a NAS so it should be more connected to accounting.
Most of us cannot understand what is the content of the overall
lecture.

 Lack of time for the discussion of investment

The organizers should evaluate which of the topics that
will be discussed will be more interesting to the participants so
they will give more time to the speaker. They should at least
give more time to the speaker to finish his lecture or to
discussed some more important parts that will widen our
knowledge. It is not appropriate to cut the lecture since the
participants are interested then it looks unfair because they
give more time to the next speaker.

 Undiscussed Topics
They have to make sure that the speakers will be able to
attend because some are really beneficial in our field. They have
to notify the chosen speakers several months before the event to
make sure that they are available on the schedule of the event.
