by the Ford and Rockefeller Foundations withthe slp and approval of
the Government of the Philippines. Today IRRI isone of 16 noapeotit
international research centers supported by the Cawsultative Group on
International Agricultural Research (CGIAR — wwssegiar ons).
IRI receives support from several CGIAR manbers, including the
World Bank, European Union, Asian Developmen Bank, Iniemational
Fund for Agricultural Development, Rockefeller Foundation, and agencies
of the following govemments: Australis, Belgiun, Canada, People’s
