Quick User Guide for Aastra 6731i handset

To Make a Call :
Pick up the handset and press 9 followed by the number.

Alternatively, to make a hands free call, press 9 followed by the

number and then press DIAL key

To End a Call :

To End a call, press the End Key (or replace the handset)

To Transfer a Call : With your call, press the Transfer button

, this puts the call on hold and your caller cannot hear you. Now
enter the extension number and then press DIAL KEY

Once answered, announce the call then Press

To Return to Caller :
If there is no answer, you no longer wish to speak to your colleague
press the CANCEL key

Last number Redial Key: Press the last number redial key and then navigate via the up and
down key to the required number

.
When you have found the number required either lft the handset or
press

To Park (Hold) a Call :

During a call press the HOLD key

, the caller is put on hold, to return to the caller press

once again
Conference key:
When you are in a call press the CONFERENCE key

the caller is placed on hold, dial the number required to join the
conference.
Once they answer press the CONFERENCE key once again

All three persons are now in a conference call

To Use Microphone Key (Secrecy) :

If you would like to mute your voice during a call, press the
Microphone button.

To speak to your caller, press the Microphone button again.

To see your MISSED CALLS :
Without picking up the handset first, press the CALL LIST key,

Use the navigation key to show your UNANSWERED CALLS press

down once

You will see UNANSWERED CALLS, Press enter

You will now see UNANSWERED, press down to see the calls in the list

To call back simply life the handset or press

To Divert (Call Forward) All Calls : Press the CALL FORWARD programmed key.

Navigate to the ALL option and press enter

Now you can select USER or VOICEMAIL as the divert

destination.

If you select USER you will then have to key in the number and select
ENTER

If you select voicemail your phone will be diverted immediately.

The RED led next to the CALL FORWARD key will light to indicate that
the phone is on diverted.

To Remove the Divert : To remove the divert just press the RED call forward key once again
To record your Voicemail: Firstly prepare what you are going to record.

Lift the handset and press the Record VM button

You will hear 2 seconds of dial tone, when this dial tone stops make
your recording

Press the END key when you have finished

To listen to your messages:

If you have received a voicemail message waiting LED will be flashing
and your display will show how many messages you have received

To listen press

During you message

Press to skip to the next message

Press to repeat the current message

Press to delete the current messge

Note:
You can not delete a message that you have not listened to fully.

TIP:
Pressing 2 to repeat after listening for 2 seconds will allow you to
press 8 to delete the message.

Pick up another ringing phone: If you can hear another phone ringing press

You are now connected to the caller
