II. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the activity, the participants are expected to:

Cognitive

- Learn useful information regarding time management


- Gain insights towards time management
- Recognize their potential capabilities in time management

Emotional

- Become motivated in better managing their time


- Become inspired to further develop their time management skills

Behavior

- To practice and develop time management skills


- To apply learned information about time management

 Group Flags (Red, Blue, Green)
 3 1.5L sized cut opened empty soft drink bottles

Prizes

 2 Family size Domino’s Pizza


 3 1.5L Soft Drinks
 Paper cups (for drinks)
 1 Packs of Quake Bars

V. ACTIVITY:

1. Activity#1 “To Do List”

Instructions:

 The class or group of participants are grouped into 3 equal groups (Red, Blue, Green).
 A group representative from each of the 3 groups shall draw lots to see what order
each group shall do the activity.
 The activity shall be performed one group at a time.
 Each group is given a list of tasks that the group needs to accomplish quickly given
the limited time frame
 This is a time pressured activity, each group is given 4 minutes to do the activity.
 Each group is given a flag corresponding to their team color.
 Each member must take turns holding the flag, the group member holding the flag
must accomplish any of the listed task in the list they have received.
 Group members are not allowed to repeat an accomplished task
 Once a member accomplishes a task, he/she must passes the flag onto the next
member to do a different task.
 They are to repeat the passing of the flag amongst the group until the time runs out or
if they complete all the tasks.
 The group with the most accomplished tasks wins

Time Frame: 15minutes


2. Activity#2 “Bottle of Life”

Instructions

 The 3 groups from the activity#1 shall be the same groupings for this activity
 Each group shall be given a cut opened 1.5L sized empty soft drink bottle
 This is a time pressured activity, all groups are given 7 minutes to do the activity
 The 3 groups will do the activity simultaneously at the same time
 All groups are tasked to fill the empty bottle with anything they can find to fill it up with
 The objective of the activity is to fill as many objects inside the empty bottle within the
given time limit
 Any sized object can be used to fill the empty bottle (provided that it fits)
 Liquids cannot be used to fill the empty bottle
 The group with the most number of objects filled in the empty bottle wins

Time Frame: 10 minutes

VIII. INTEGRATION:

From this activity the cognitively, the participants will be able to learn useful information
regarding time management, gain valuable insights towards time management and recognize
their potential capabilities in time management. Emotionally speaking, the participants will be
motivated in better managing their time as well as become inspired to further develop their time
management skills given their experience of the activities and lecture discussions. Individually,
the participants will be able to gain a bountiful of knowledge and useful insights from the
activity. They shall be able to practice and develop their time management skills as well as apply
their learned information about time management.

Holistically it shall foster growth and maturity as the activity offers not only lessons about
time management but as well as life lessons. The activity offers lessons in which the importance
of time management is not only emphasized but the value of it and on how also applies to their
everyday lives. The learnings of the participants from this activity shall not only be a means to
become successful in their lives but also offers a means for them to forge a greater quality of life.
