2 - Description The set of optical splicing box CEFO G2 has been developed to house
and protect splices of optical fiber cables in aerial and ground networks.
CEFO G2 is a compact easy-to-use product that has high resistance
against deterioration and weather.

1. Dome: Responsible for protection of the splice set. The plastic raw-
material used is polypropylene. It has characteristics that provides the
product with high resistance against deterioration when exposed to long
periods in the environment; including the action of ultraviolet (UV).

2. Base: Responsible for housing the cables. The plastic raw-material

used is polypropylene. It has characteristics that provides the product
with high resistance against deterioration when exposed to long periods
in the environment; including the action of ultraviolet (UV).

3. Cover and Tray: Responsible for housing splices. The plastic raw-
material used in both is the high impact polystyrene gives these
resistance against deterioration.

4. Metal parts: The metal parts of the splices, screws, washers, fasteners
are composed of stainless steel and aluminum.
