Figure 1: Schematic presentation of the Theoretical Background of the Study

Figure 1 shows the theoretical background of the study. First thing to do is

prepare all the materials needed, the 2 laboratory rats and the serpentina

plant. Make sure that the serpentina were wash, clean and dry and extracted.

After that inject the extract of serpentina in the rats.

Chapter 4

PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS, AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

This chapter presents the findings, analysis, and interpretation of data

gathered where the main objective is to find out the blood sugar of the rats is

normal.

Presentation of Data

After the data was collected, the data was treated with one-way analysis of

variance (ANOVA). The data in table 1 was presented and interpreted to

answer the questions related to the study.

Table 1 shows the Blood glucose level (Mean ± SD) after 30 minutes of oral

administration of distilled water in control and each dose of extract in test

groups. Values in parenthesis represent percent blood glucose decrease (-)

compared to control group = p< 0.0001 when compared with control group - =

observed within 4 hours of administration of dose ++ = moderately sedative

and 50% mortality was observed within 4 hours of administration of dose while

other mice regain normal behavior after providing diet and water +++ = Acute

toxicity (extremely sedative and 83-100 % mortality was observed)

Table 2 shows that when compared with respective control and negative

control groups. All values are expressed as mean ± SD (n=6). Values in

parenthesis represent percent blood glucose decrease (-) / increase (+)

compared with respective time interval in control group

Analysis of Data

The data gathered on the test conducted has a significant difference on the

data gathered by the researcher. The data on the test done were subjected by

ANOVA single factor.

Chapter 5

Summary, Conclusion, and Recommendation

In this chapter it presents the summary or the research work undertaken,

the conclusion drawn and the recommendations made as an outgrowth of this

study. The study is about the Normalizing the Blood Sugar using Snakeroot

Extract.

SUMMARY

After the researchers conducted the study they observed and compared

the findings of the study.

1. How effective is the serpentina plant in terms of :

1.1 normalizing the blood sugar

The result of normalizing the blood sugar in treatment 1 is

different than treatment 2.

2. How many grams of snakeroot extract could be suitable in

normalizing blood sugar.

2.1 10 grams

The result is +2.5.

2.2 30 grams

The result is +1.41.

2.3 100 grams

The result is +15.54.

CONCLUSION

From all the data gathered the researchers conclude that the 10 grams

rate of snakeroot extract can make the blood sugar level goes to normal. And

in the findings more higher grams of snakeroot extract injected to the

laboratory rats can make the mortality of the laboratory rats. With the exact

amount of snakeroot extract it can be more apporiate or suitable in terms of

normalizing the blood sugar level.

RECOMMENDATIONS

To improve future studies, the researchers recommend further observation

of the normalizing the blood sugar using the extract of the serpentina plant..

The researchers also recommend having two single groups by normalizing the

blood sugar with different treatments. Lastly, the researchers recommend

either to use herbal plant so that there is a wide amount of data to compute

and evaluate.
