Forbidden Love

Long ago there was a handsome man who is waiting for his
concubine in their rendezvous. While waiting he thinks deeply
whether to finally stop their erratum deeds or not. But no matter
how he thinks, the dynamism to resume his forbidden love for his
concubine still wins. He was still thinking when suddenly he saw a
silhouette before him. The girl has finally arrived. It looks like she
had her whole wardrobe already because she was holding a three
big bags. He gave the girl a bizarre look cause of what he see's but
the girl just smiled and told the man it is just the things that they
will be using during their three day trip in the boondock. They rode a
kayak which is baroque styled and is full of ornaments. The kayak is
very adorable which made the girl cry in joy. While heading their way
to their destination they talked a lot of things like what if his true
wife learn about their relationship and she will collaborate with a
conqueror with his squadron full of combatants to kill them? The
thought of those things made them in a bad mood. To avoid quarrel,
the girl went in the side and sleep instead. After an hour the girl
woke up by the Merry tintinnabulation of the church bells which
mean they had already arrived at their destination. The place is like
an art with many indigenous embellishments that made it look like
an old city. Suddenly they learn that their outfits is mismatch in the
place so they look for a boutique to buy some clothes that would
match in. After a decade of picking what they like, they finally
decided to go to an inn to have some rest.

Next morning, they hike upto the highest part of the boondock
wherein they saw a bizarre gargantuan hyacinth having a corrugated
texture and a woman with an aphasia who is spitting phlegm. They
stared at the woman with an awe face because they are thinking she
is an inutile because of her sickness. The next day, they are about to
go in a cave but one of the staff in their inn told them the
cancellation of all the foreign trips as a respect because that day is
the Sabbath. They all proceeded in the facade of the church wherein
there is a guru lecturing them. After the mass, the guru approached
the two of them. They thought he will beg for money because it has
a small bag with him but to their surprise he didn't. He invites the
both of them instead in a room inside the church. They find it weird
but they go anyway. Little did they know, the guru isolate them so
that he can discuss something personal to them. As soon as they are
all inside the guru starts his soliloquy about immorality which made
them uncomfortable. The man said that immorality is a taboo subject
and they don't wanna talk about it. The guru pause for a second and
continue saying this adage " Thou shalt not commit adultery " . The
two terrified for the robust stand of the guru and suddenly the cry a
river. The guru continue his exhaustive explanation about the issue.
He stated that adultery is fasad which means a moral corruption to
God. The two talked for a while and admits they have a
misinterpretation about love and decides to finally end their
relationship. To put the jurisprudence of their immoral actions they
decided to call the bureaucracy and sentence them with the
accordance of the law. But the guru interpolates with them. He said
that " as long as you are now both enlightened there's no need to do
that anymore. God favored you now the forgiveness " .

After that day they parted their ways and made their own lives
but afteryears the stigma of that day remained in their hearts. The
per se of the conflict has put to end and that serves as an exemplar
to others.

Saving mother earth

In this universe we are in, earth is

the only known planet where life can
be possible to have because of it's
combination of most essential natural
resources such as oxygen, water and
gravity.
Our planet earth takes nothing
in return from us, however, it still
demands maintenance such as
cleaning, and preserving it's natural
resources for the continuity of life.
We must put in mind that we humans
are not just the living matter here on
earth there are animals and plants
who are living here too that badly
needs the earth's natural resources.
In that case as the highest living
matter here on earth we humans
have the responsibility to take care
and preserve it by planting more
threes around our environment and
keeping it clean always. By doing that
things we can reduce global warming
and avoid disasters.
When our planet earth
became dangerous place for a living
we human beings are the main
victims of it. What ever is your place
in society we all must take our part to
save and to make our planet safe and
healthy to live in. By protecting our
environment and natural resources,
we can save our planet earth.
 Foreseeing the future

It is just another typical night for a father

who was then putting his two year old
daughter to bed. He told her a story and
after that he listened to her prayers. At
the end of her prayer her father got
shocked because of these words of her,
"God bless mommy, daddy and
grandma. Goodbye grandpa"
"Why did you say good bye
grandpa"
the man ask...
" I just know that he will die soon
daddy but I don't know how "
the little girl replied...
The man just ignore what happened that
night thinking that it is just her
imagination but in the next morning her
grandpa died but then he considered it
just a mere coincidence.
After those happenings there is nothing
weird happened anymore but then a few
months later when the man do his nightly
routine with his daughter, the little girl
uttered these words,
"God bless mommy and daddy.
Goodbye grandma"
Again the man just ignored it and go to
sleep. Then the following morning a news
came to them telling that grandma has
died already yesternight. After hearing
the news the man learned that what his
daughter saying was true after all and
finally believes it.

 Why cats and dogs hate each other

Long time ago cat and dog were

friends. They share the same house
and they go out together everyday to
search for food. Until one time they
decided to go to a river to catch fish
for dinner. Soon as they arrived cat
told dog that he don't wanna get wet
and he also don't know how to swim.
The dog didn't say a thing anymore
cause he know he doesn't have any
choice but to do the work. But little
did cat know that dog is already
furious that time. When they got
home, dog didn't say a word and start
cooking the fish. Soon as he cooked it
he started eating it alone.
Cat got mad and he stated these
words angrily,
"How dare you eat without me? I
always treat you as my brother and
that what i get in return? How can't
you understand that I really can't
swim? And I'm afraid of water. You
are not really a friend cause you can't
understand my situation".
 Dog lost his temper and started
fighting with cat. They scratched and
bite each other with their sharp
clause and teeth. Their fight lasted
for a hour and they are both bloody
when it ends. After a second cat run
away from their house and never to
return again. Since then when a cat
and dog meet their way they always
fight.
 My Life

My name is Rose May Formoso, and I was born in

November, 2000, in Peñarrubia Abra. Our family, made up of
my mother, father, brother, and a sister transferred to
Cabuloan, Bangued when I was 1 year old. I encountered my
first, but not last, taste of heartbreak when I was four years
old when my father died by a gunshot in the head. As a child
with no father, growing is not that magical for me because I am
longing for the love, care and presence of a father. But as far
as I remember my mother did her best to raise me only by her
own. The emptiness inside me slowly fades away time to time.

Years ago when my life is literally like a wheel of luck,

when I was in grade three my mother go abroad to work as an
OFW which made me lonely for a period of time because I am
longing for her. I was kept by my sister who happen to have a
husband already in their house. My childhood time there was a
combination of happiness and sadness because at my young
age I became a babysitter to my nephews. From my childhood
days, I knew already that my family had to struggle for every
penny. My Mom go abroad to support us. I hated it when other
kids made fun of working people, because I knew to my self
then that it is really hard it consumes all your energy and
everything.

When I was in grade six, when I am finally graduating in

elementary at Bangued West Central School, my mother got
home.I was very happy then because finally I can live with her
everyday again. That day is meaningful for me as a kid
because all of our relatives came. My vacation before was very
awesome because I finally got back to our house and my
mother is home.

When I was at my junior years in Abra High School the

most hurtful thing happened to me. I was in my last year then
as a junior when my mother bring home a guy. This guy have a
dark skin color, he is tall and have a muscular body. We were
all shock at that moment because my mother never told us
that she got a boyfriend and he's living with us now. However,
even if I am against it I just accepted him for the happiness if
my mother. Months passed by and I can tell that it's okay living
with him. Until one evening, he attempts to rape me. That was
a total nightmare for me when my mother didn't believe me
and choose to ran away with that guy.
 My life today is just like the others so typical, school,
house is my everyday setting. I was still in our old house with
my tito, my brother and my mother. Yes, my mother goes back
to us. Now that I'm graduating senior high I alredy learned that
after schooling a new set of responsibilities will be at my back.
The responsibility as a daughter and a sister. I was the one
who can lift up my family into the deep well of poverty.
 Joshua Seares

Joshua Estudillo Seares was born

on May, 2001 in Bangued Abra during
the times of election. He have a
wonderful family which gave him all
what he needs. Mr. Julius Seares and
Mrs. Matilde Seares is his parents. He
has two sisters, Jessa Amor and Jenny
Ann. He is 17 years old at this
moment. Joshua have a happy family
living in Mabungtot Langiden Abra.
They have a farm wherein they plant
rice crops, corn and other vegetables.

During his elementary days joshua

is a persistent honored student. He
takes his studies seriously because
he wants his family to be proud of
him. He moved into a boarding house
in Bangued for his high school years
in Abra Valley Colleges in his junior
years and at ASIST during senior
years but unfortunately he didn't
have any awards.
 Joshua have a great faith in God.
Whenever he have problems he
always ask God for help for he
believes that it will automatically
solve. His motto is " never give up ".
He doesn't get easily shaken
whenever life goes hard because he
have God by his side.

Where does the name Mabungtot

came from

As it was told by the

panglakayens in our place,
Mabungtot derived from the
word nabungsot. Nabungsot is
an ilocano word which means
stinky. It was named like that
after the dead bodies of the
people and animals was carried
by flood cause of stormy
weather. Days passed after the
flood, the dead bodies smelled
so bad. As they are tinguians
they made the nabungsot word
into mabungtot for it was the
equivalent term for it. Since
then the place named
Mabungtot upto now.
 The horseman

Since we were kids the old

folks in our barangay told us
that there is something
strange happening during
midnight in our place. As told
by them there is a horse like
man who roams around our
barangay to protect us from
any danger.

One night a group of drunk

people provoked a fight which
leads into a commotion. They
threw big stones at each other.
One of them threw the big
stone in the air and hit the
horseman accidentally. After
that the boy got sick and soon
he died.
 Since then when midnight
strikes people are no where to
be found outside we are all
inside our home.
