Your MBA On Mission: Operation Uttermost
Mexico - Brian Gay
Thank you very much for praying for the mission to
Mexico and the Mixtec people. This vision trip had
the purpose of relationship-building with the
missionaries and local believers who can assist in
future efforts reaching out to the Mixtecs. We
visited with several villages and participated in
multiple worship services, which enabled us to
share the gospel in multiple contexts. I was able to
preach two sermons, the first to a very small group
where I shared from 1 Kings 18 and Acts 1:8.
The second preaching opportunity was to the church
in Yuvinani about the call of God to go share the gospel. We also shared the
gospel one-on-one with a number of people. The most exciting thing to
report is that one of the missionaries lead a young man to faith! Praise God
that there is now another Mixtec believer! Thank you for praying!

Your MBA On Mission: Operation Samaria
Kentucky - Trevor Perry and Team
Thank you for praying for our team
that traveled to Kentucky at the end of
May. Our mission was to install a
metal roof on Reggie Hall’s home in
Mousie, KY. He is the pastor of
Victory Baptist Church in Leburn,
KY. In addition to the roof work, a
deeper purpose of the trip was to
establish a relationship with the Three
Forks Association in southeastern Front row: Debbie Perry (Letohatchee), Pete
Smith (Heritage), David Grimes (Eastern
Kentucky. We had the privilege of Hills) Back row: Reggie Hall (pastor of
working with Missionary Strategist Victory Baptist in Leburn, KY), Trevor
Jamie Reynolds and Tim Reynolds, Perry (Letohatchee), Reuben Brown
(Church at the Villages in Orlando, FL), and
pastor of Wooton Baptist Church, Jimmy Todd (Snowdoun)
who graciously housed our team in
the church parsonage. It was a joy to get to
know these men and work alongside them.
The time and work afforded us the
opportunity to learn of the spiritual and
physical needs of the local people. They
have recently experienced great change
because of decreased coal mining activity.
The greatest need is to share the gospel with
children and adults alike, which can be
accomplished through Vacation Bible School and
outreach activities. The local people are warm,
receptive, and in need of encouragement in their
daily walk. We can continue this work together by
sending mission teams of 10-12 people. Our
southeast Kentucky brothers and sisters in Christ
likewise expressed a desire to come and work with
us on various projects and outreach opportunities
in the River Region. When all is said and done, it’s
not about Montgomery Baptists or Three Forks,
but it is about how we can help one another
advance the kingdom of God and His glory!
