THE PROBLEM AND REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE
Introduction
This study is about Senior High School and the respondents are the Graduates of
TVL/ICT-CSS DSASHS S.Y. 2017-2018 in Dolores Stand Alone. This study is a tracer
study and the objective of the study is to trace the graduates of TVL/ICT-CSS DSASHS
S.Y. 2017-2018, the researchers want to know the current status and what path did the
graduates took, either Academic or Occupational path.
This chapter presents a number of literature and studies that provides related
Information that is necessary for the study. The following topics are discussed: The
importance of knowing graduates status after school, the relation of skills to the
occupation, the relation of skills to college route.
Synthesis

Conceptual Framework
Understanding the whereabouts of the 2017-2018 CSS/TVL 12 grade students of
Dolores Senior high is important for the researchers to determine what their
current status is, whether or not the skills they learned has prepared students
for college and work.

DSASHS S.Y. 2017-2018
This study aims at trace the graduates on what the current status of the 2017-
2018 TVL/CSS students of DSASH to better understand the importance of high-school is
for the preparation for college and work.

Research Hypothesis
1.)
(+)The skills they learned are being used in the path they took.
(-) the skills they learned are not being used in the path they took.
2.)
(+) the track that they took are relevant to the path they took.
(-) the track that they took are not relevant to the path they took.
3.)
(+) the graduates pursue collage.
(-) the graduates did not pursue collage.
4.)
(+) the graduates are now employees.
(-) the graduates are not employees.
The significance of this study is to trace the graduates and know what path did they
took if academic or occupational path. By knowing what path they took the students will
be prepared on what path to pursue in collage or if they want to work. With this the
students will be able to learn from the graduates.

METHOD
This chapter includes the presentation of the research design, the respondent of
the study, sampling design, data gathering and data analysis used in the study.
Type of Research
This study is a Quantitative Descriptive research. According to USC
Respondents
This study was chosen for its purpose is to trace the graduates where
they are now If the skills they learned are being used, if they are working or still studying.
Using the survey questionnaire to the respondents was done to gather pieces of
information. The study was done inside and outside of the school. The number of the
respondents of the study is 15 from the graduates of 12-Philippians and 12-Thessalonians.
Instruments
In this study, the researchers use Survey Questionnaire for Data
Gathering. The researchers used purposive sampling. In addition, these instruments will
guide the researcher/s study. Some researcher uses this instruments but some use the

Based on the study, by making your first move to create your own research is to identify
the number of respondents and the. From that point, the researcher/s avoids mistakes,
This study was conducted in and out of Dolores Stand Alone Senior High
School. The respondents for this study are the Graduate students of 12 – Philippians
and 12 - Thessalonians. The collection of data is for academic purpose only, in that

The first step is to identify the number of respondents and the respondents have
Their time to answer. From that point, the researchers must avoid mistakes, and the
presentation of data must be related to the researchers study.
CONSTRUCTION
The researcher submitted the first draft of the questionnaires to the research
Adviser for the comments and suggestions then the other two professional teachers to
ensure items would be suited to the study.
VALIDATION
The results of revision served as the basis for its improvement. The researchers

Go to the principal office to get a letter to allow the researchers to collect a data from
the respondents in Dolores Stand Alone Senior High School. 15 copies of the survey
questionnaires were reproduced for the target respondents.
Data Analysis
The following statistical measures were used to interpret and analyze the data Gathered.
Percentage and Frequency Distributions served as the step in summarizing the
Data gathered regarding The Graduates of senior high TVL/ICT-CSS DSASHS students

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
This chapter presents the results, analyses and interpretation of the data. The
results were presented following the sequence of the problems stated in the first
chapter.
Score F % Level
84-100 4 10% Exemplary
63-83 17 43% Proficient
42-62 9 23% Developing
21-41 6 15% Emerging
0-20 4 10% Learning
Total 40 100%

To strengthen the accuracy of the above mentioned data, the individual ratings
of the experts were tested using Kendall’s W. The computed value of w= 0.95 indicates
that there is a significant agreement among the experts in terms of scoring.

SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
This chapter presents the culmination of the study. It covers the summary of the
research process, summary of the findings, the conclusion derived and the
recommendation offered.
Summary
The study sought to answer the following questions: Re-Write your STATEMENT
OF THE PROBLEM )
Summary of Findings
Based on the collected and interpreted data, the researcher obtained the
following significant findings:
(Sample ways on how to write FINDINGS)
1. Majority of the respondents were able to do problem posing tasks but had
difficulty posing accurate Math verbal problems. The Pre-Service Math
teachers:
( On Problem solving )
1.1 are proficient in the application of the formula for the area of two-
dimensional figures, application of the 4 fundamental operations,
translation of verbal problems to Math equation and solving
simultaneously 2 equations in 2 unknown.
1.2 do not have sufficient skills in analyzing problems which do not
have exact formula but rather require analytical skills in order to
arrive at the correct answer.

Conclusion
The following are conclusions:
(Sample)
1. The pre-service Mathematics teachers are generally equipped with knowledge in
solving verbal problems especially that require definite formula or step to follow
but they have limited capabilities in solving non-routine verbal problems; are not
much equipped with knowledge to pose accurate mathematical verbal problems;
have limited experiences in posing verbal problems in their respective programs
thus, resulting to limited capabilities in posing their own relevant problems.
