Evidence: My motivators

Studies of successful individuals have found that there are a few motivators that
guide their career and job choices, and make working an enjoyable and successful
experience for them. Below you will find a list with the motivators that are most
commonly mentioned by high-achieving people. For this evidence you have to
organize them in order of importance from 1 (the most important) to 10 (the least
important) and write a composition expressing how they have been part of your
professional development. Recycle the grammar and vocabulary you have learned
in this learning activity. (Example: I feel variety is the most important factor in my
motivation. I don’t like doing repetitive things. In my current job I have learned how
to use Photoshop and how to market different products online. I am becoming very
good at it and now I am able to teach others.)

Composition
The challenge remains my main motivation to overcome obstacles. When something
represents a challenge for me, I try my best to achieve it.

The interest has been my help to put enthusiasm in the things I do. When a project is
about to start, I have it as a priority.

The competition motivates me not to be conformist with the knowledge and skills that I
have. It inspires me to improve daily to prevent the competition from being better than me.

The variety is a good incentive to avoid falling into monotony. If my activities become
repetitive, my interest will not be the same and it will not be the same anymore.

The recognition of the people is a reward that makes me think that all the effort I put into
my activities was not wasted.

Working hard and seeing results in your lifestyle is also a good motivation. I have always
aspired to change my lifestyle together with my family.

Relationships allow me to make friends with people who share my same interests and
passions. I like to exchange ideas and learn from my social circle. It is truly impressive to
hear the different points of view of each one.

Safety has allowed me to develop easily and transmit my ideas without fear. Thanks to
security, I have become more daring to choose the best processes to succeed together
with my colleagues.

Independence I see reflected in individual work, but always performed as a team because
the satisfaction is greater.

Money has never been my motivation, even if I have had many difficulties for lack of it. It
is true that with money we can aspire to live a better life, but I do not feel comfortable
having everything without striving to achieve it.
