Dear LYMEC IMS,

I am a graduating student in a Master program in European Studies. Last year, I moved to Brussels to kick
off my career in the European Union. As a young liberal who strongly believes in individual freedoms and,
above all, in freedom of speech, I decided to be active in politics by campaigning for ALDE and +Europa in
these European elections; promoting liberal values both at the national and European level.

These experiences made me understand I love working with social media, creating graphics and developing
the right communication strategy to spread liberal voices. As such, joining Libel, the webzine of the
International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY), came up almost as a natural thing. As soon as I discovered
the platform, I thought it was the perfect opportunity for me to combine my interest in journalism and
politics, as well as my communication skills to work with young liberals across the globe.

I feel that becoming IMS Congress Delegate is the right way to immerse again in the European environment
and to have the chance to be more involved with the European liberal family. I want to make sure that all
LYMEC individual members will have a voice during the Congress. In these European eletions Renew Europe
became the third leading force in the EU parliament. It is our duty as young liberals to take this as an
opportunity to do our best in tackling the current challenges of our continent; climate change, migration,
unemployment and online disinformation. To make this happen we have to cooperate as a team; listening
every opinion, developing a common strategy and being active members.

I am an open-minded person. I learned through my various experiences abroad how to interact with people
from all over the world respecting different cultures. I had been actively involved in social and cultural life
at university, trying to combine my interests in politics and Human Rights. With SUAS, I have taken part in
the literary mentor program in a public school. Since I love writing articles, I have also collaborated with
different journals and I am still occasionally working as a freelancer. I have been nominated as a finalist for
the “National Journalist of the Year” at the Student Media Awards in Ireland. I have also been the editor of
the journal of the Association of International Political Science Students called “POLITIKON.” I have taken
part in two different simulations of the EU. For all these reasons, I hope you will vote for me.
