THE OPERATION OF NEW RUNWAY, NEW CONNECTING TAXIWAY, NEW


PARALLEL TAXIWAY AND EAST CROSS TAXIWAY AT SOEKARNO HATTA
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – JAKARTA

1. General
1.1. The purpose of this supplement is to inform pilots and flight crews regarding the operation
of New Runway, New Connecting Taxiway, New Parallel Taxiway and East Cross Taxiway,
in order to accommodate the increasing number of incoming and outgoing aircraft at
Soekarno Hatta International Airport – Jakarta.

1.2. This publication will add data published in AIP Indonesia Volume II :
- WIII AD 2.8 Apron, Taxiways and Check Locations/ Positions Data;
- WIII AD 2.9 Surface Movement Guidance and Control System and Markings;
- WIII AD 2.12 Runway Physical Characteristics;
- WIII AD 2.13 Declared Distances;
- WIII AD 2.14 Approach and Runway Lighting;
- WIII AD 2.15 Other Lighting, Secondary Power Supply.

1.3. With regard to the effective date of this AIRAC AIP Supplement, the latest publication In
AIP Indonesia Volume II AMDT 76 as mentioned below are replaced, on attachment :

2. Implementation Date
This AIRAC AIP Supplement will become effective on 20 June 2019.

3.1. New Taxiway Width, Surface and Strength data as follow:
Designation = Taxiway NP3, M1, M2, M7, M8, N3M, N4M,
N6M, N7M, N8M, EC1 (SPE-SP2), and EC2
(NPE-SPE)
Width = 25m
Surface = Asphalt
Strength = PCN 89/F/C/X/T

3.2. New Runway and Taxiway marking and Light data as follow:
RWY and TWY markings and LGT Marking
- RWY : Side stripe, Threshold, RWY End,
Designation, Centreline, Touchdown Zone,
Aiming Point.
- TWY : Centreline, Side stripe, RWY Holding
Position, Intermediate Holding Position,
Shoulder.
Light
- RWY : Centreline, Edge, Threshold, Guard,
RWY End, Approach, Sequence Flasing,
Guidance Sign Box.
- TWY : Hight Speed Exit, Edge, Centreline
(except EC1, EC2), Guidance Sign.
Stop Bars Available for Wide body and Narrow body acft
Stop bars are installed at all RWY holding
position.
Remarks Wind Sock supplemented with light available at
RWY 06/24.
