The complete WANDA package is available through the Deltares software portal:
https://download.deltares.nl/en/download/wanda/ .

To download the setup and documentation files you need a download password; this has been sent
to the main WANDA contact person within your organization. If you have not yet received a
download password, please contact the sales team via sales@deltaressystems.nl.

To install the WANDA program, you need at least the WANDA setup as well as the FlowCharter
2013 setup; WANDA 4.5 uses iGrafx Flowcharter 2013.

License request
Before installing Flowcharter 2013 and using WANDA 4.5 you need a Flowcharter license key and a
WANDA license file. You received these when purchasing WANDA. If you have lost the Flowcharter
key or WANDA license file, please send your request for this code and file to
sales@deltaressystems.nl

Install sequence

Step 0 In order to install WANDA 4, you’ll need the following software:

 WANDA 4 setup
 Flowcharter FC2013
 DS_FLEX license manager

All software is available via https://download.deltares.nl/en/download/wanda/ .

The WANDA 4 license file must be available in order to complete the

installation successfully.

Step 1 Install FlowCharter 2013,

The downloaded file is a self-extracting archive. When the program finishes

unpacking, start <UnpackDirectory>\setup.exe (usually C:\iGrafx2013\setup.exe).

Depending on your regional settings, the set-up program can ask for the language
you want. Always choose the ENGLISH version.

The set up asks for a license key, this code is distributed by Deltares by e-mail.
If you forgot this key, the Flowcharter program can only be used for viewing and not
for editing (a lock will be visible).

Step 2 Install WANDA 4 by executing “Setup Wanda 4.5.exe”. It is possible to install

WANDA 4.5 next to an earlier version of WANDA by choose a different installation
location.

Step 3  Install the license manager by executing the “DS_FLEX.exe” setup

program.The setup will ask for your license file, which will be copied to the
C:\Program files (x86)\DS_FLEX directory.

Step 4 Connect the dongle to the USB port (depends on type of dongle).

Step 5 (only for special components)

Copy the file “Wanda Special.sbj” to C:\Program files (x86)\Wanda 4\ShapeLibrary”.

Step 6 Reboot the system (if asked for).

Step 7 Start Wanda

Administrator and user privileges

By default, the set-up utility of WANDA puts the installation files in the C:\Program Files
(x86)\Wanda 4 directory on 64-bit operating systems (most common), or C:\Program Files\Wanda 4
on 32-bit operating systems. This directory may be read only for the WANDA user. For each user,
WANDA creates a user directory in C:\Users\MyUser\Application Data\Wanda 4. This creation is
done the first time a new user starts WANDA. In this directory all templates and ini-files are located.
The original files are stored in the program files directory.

To use WANDA, the user does not need to have any administrator privileges.

and MyCase.wdx) with the e-mail.
