Okay class let’s start the discussion so our
topic for today is all about “Flower Making”
which is made of paper or paper flower.

What comes on your mind when you hear the (student raise their hands)
word flower making? Any Idea? (call a Ma’am, flowers that are not available

Flower Making is the art of producing artificial
flowers. It is usually made of paper or other
various kind of waste materials such us (a student ask a question)

parts of flower since our topic is a flower
making or paper flower.

The flower consists of the following parts:

yellow and other surrounded with fine
stamens.
Carpel- found within the center of the flower.
It consist three parts that comprise the
reproductive organ of the flower the stigma,
style and ovary.
Ovule- this contains the embryo sac and
hence the female germ cell, which after
fertilization develop into a seed
Lastly
Receptacle- it’s the part of a flower stalk
where the parts of the flower are attached.

cutting techniques used in flower making.

paper in half parallel to the grain of the
crepe paper and cutting it.
I’ll demonstrate the plain cut, using this half
