INTRODUCTION

Personal Information
I am Marianne Joselle Diaz Elemos Accountancy and Business Management (ABM)
Grade 12 student, academic track, and my projected college course is Accountancy.
Upon studying and learning the course of ABM I have been given a chance to have a
work experienced in Mitsubishi Company, Turbina Calamba ,Laguna particularly in the
financial firm.

Work Exposure Site Profile

Work Exposure is a given experience to enhance student’s skill in preparation for their
projected college course. There are different offered work experiences in such
companies in letting the students encounter various activities in particular field. My
experience in the accounting field and human resource in Mitsubishi Company is more
on sorting receipts such as repair order receipts. The said activity is more on the field of
a Human Resource.

During our work exposure, Ms. Bernadette Manaig is our key person upon performing
the activity. She is the head of the Human Resource department. She welcomed us
cheerful and she is good at accommodating especially in every assistance we need. She
brought us on a comfortable place and secures everything before leaving the work on
us. The ambiance of the workplace is peaceful and we freely done our job in a pleasant
way. The place, I may say is discipline, because people are all in their distinct places
and really does there job well.

REPORT SECTION

Having a work experience for the first time gives a pressure and excitement adventure
to me. First, it was exciting that finally the chance to experience the job that we in the
future will become is a great opportunity. Second, the pressure that the job that will be
assign to me will be difficult enough and I am not familiar or it is more on a professional
way, knowing that we will be working in a corporation-Mitsubishi. However, in the
workplace proper the expected work in the field of accounting wasn’t met. We are
divided in two departments but as we arrive at the place it falls down to one work for all
which is the human resource group. It is maybe a sign that in every work, you start at
basic process and will then serve as a turning point in knowing the papers you are
holding. Moreover, sorting the receipts of a repair order and arranging it by number are
my significant experience during our work exposure. It may be tiring but the eagerness
to finish the task makes me feel that I’m taking patience and hard work. It may be just
sorting papers but the terms listed are also being evaluated which adds to my
knowledge in accounting. But beyond this sorting of papers there are frustrations that
occur and made us stress out. There are repair order receipts with no reference no. and
paper attached and we need to locate its pair. This made as annoyed because we can’t
find the corresponding reference number, it was once attached however one employee
detach it and so we are the ones replacing it. Even though it is hard to look for the other
papers we still continue and search ways on how to figure things out and make it easy
for us to locate repair order receipts other documents.

EVALUATION OF WORK EXPOSURE EXPERIENCE

The top three 21st century skill that was seen and used during the work experienced
were Collaboration, Communication, and Critical Thinking. Our batch worked together
and had collaboration in fulfilling the task of arranging the papers. To finish the task on
time and accordingly we communicate well and task each one to sort papers properly.
And with critical thinking we come up with a plan and questioned things for us to be
familiarized and realize why such receipt is name after such term. Through a positive
and calmly workplace and atmosphere our experienced was warm enough to move and
work on. It has been a worthwhile experience to encounter our upcoming future-college
course and has gained our knowledge on our field. Also it enables us to learn more and
enhance our skills. It would be more appreciated to have more work exposure that will
advance our competence in accounting and finance in such company/work. It can be a
full time job that will really test the capability of a student in their corresponding industry.
The more real world work experiences the more skills a student acquire especially in
pursuing a career after we graduate.
