Hologram Online Workshop

Guidelines for Project Assignment

Overall Expected Output 4th SEA Creative Camp

There are 2 categories for submission:

1) Team who only submit project assignment of the workshop.
2) Team who submit project assignment and business report.
Each team assigned to create/develop the final project prototypes/product models according to the
requirements of the workshop hosts. Each team will be given approximately 20-30 days for creating
final projects.
After creating final projects/product prototypes, each team will have about 2-3 weeks to sell their
products to the market, companies and/or communities.
At the end of December, all teams need to submit the product prototypes/ product models, details of
concept development, with the business report to the workshop hosts.

For team who submit Workshop Final Assignment and Business Report (Please download Business Report
Template) will get extra point and first priority from judges.

Terms and Conditions

1) One team consist of at least 1 teacher and 3 students.
2) Final assignment consists of 2 (two) main parts:

 a. Video Process
• This video contains the process of creating 3D animations, 3D animations results that
are displayed on the pyramid holographic media, and video about the simulation of
pyramid hologram products. The video process starts from the creation of an 3D
animation model, giving material mapping, animating, rendering, editing video
(structuring the results of 3D animation videos), giving music illustrations and sound
effects, final rendering (videos can be recorded from screen recording when the
Animation manufacturing process, shooting from video camera or vlogs ), connected
with 3D Animation video results , and connected video from video camera about the
simulation of pyramid hologram products that display the results of 3D animation
(from various sides).
• Video in a short edit (highlight Video) with a maximum duration of 10 minutes, the
narrator can add to explain the process of making animated 3D. For 3D Animation
video duration that is displayed on a hologram of 1 to 3 minutes (can be looped)
• Video should display SEAMEO logo. Except the 3D animation video results.
• Videos may be in any language. Foreign-language audio (or important on-screen text)
must have English subtitles.

• Upload your video to YouTube and copy the link to Production Process booklet

Tool & Materials Please describe the tools and materials for making holographic
pyramids, hardware and software specifications for making 3D
animation videos

Hologram Pyramid Design please describe the pyramid holder design and screen monitor
design
3D Animation Design please describe 3D Animation design that will be created

Process to build On this page, you can describe the step by step in making a
pyramid stand, making glass pyramid, designing screens
monitor and making 3D Animation video using any 3D software,
video editing etc.
Photos Screen shoot photos of the process of making pyramid
holograms, the results of the hologram pyramid products from
various sides when showing the results of the animated video.
Credit Page You may add credit page if you use free licensed music sounds
effects, and videos.

5) Booklet content using English language.
6) Ensure that all content in your video (including footage, music, images, props, etc.) is your own. If you
include any copyrighted content, you must be able to provide written permission for its use. Entries
containing any unauthorized content will be disqualified
7) Team may use the free licensed music, image and sound effect for video.
6) Free licensed content should be credited and mentioned appropriately in Credit page in booklet and
Credit screen in video so that it will not violate the copyright.
7) SEAMEO have the right to disqualify the team if they have reason to believe that it does not comply with
the entry Terms and Conditions, so make sure you have read them thoroughly!

9) Paper size is A4, with orientation landscape or portrait.
10) The Competition judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into
regarding the judging process or any outcomes reached.

Submission Instructions
1) The video should be uploaded to YouTube (pay attention to youtube video uploading rules)

2) Submit your assignment by accessing the following form: http://bit.ly/Hologram-FA

3) Save the production booklet with the following format:

a. Must be in pdf format

 b. The file size is not more than 50MB.
c. Name your file [team name_video title].pdf
4) You will have to paste the link of your YouTube video and attach your Production Process booklet into
the form

Criteria of Assessment
1) Video : creative, informative, technique, original, attractive (60%).
2) Production booklet: detail, informative, descriptive (30%).
3) Business Report: marketing & income (10%)

Prizes
At the end of each workshop, the project outputs will be evaluated and selected the winners. Each
workshop will have the following prizes:
1) 1st Prize: 7,000,000 IDR
2) 2nd Prize: 6,000,000 IDR

3) 3rd Prize: 5,000,000 IDR

Important Remarks
• The “Certificate of Completion” will be provided upon the submission of the qualified Final Project.
• If the final projects submitted to the Committee are less than 15 entries, the monetary prizes may
not be considered to provide.

• The availability of monetary prizes is also depended on the decision of the sponsors.
• The venue for the Award Presentation is depended on the support of the sponsors. It is a subject to
be confirmed.
