Standards: K.M.P.a; K.M.P.b; K.M.P.c; K.M.R.a Warm Up: Fall Vocal Explorations; “I’m A Superhero!” B B E
Slide Whistle; listen and apply what we hear with matching body movements
“Grandma’s Glasses” add an instrument ostinato
“See the Leaves all Falling Down” with Boomwhackers; this week also add in body signs
Learn Do, Re, Mi Scale; Introduce that all notes live on the staff

1ST GRADE
Standards: 1.M.K.c; 1.M.K.d Warm Up: Fall Vocal Explorations; “I’m A Superhero!” B C Y
Slide Whistle: listen and apply what we hear with matching body movements; end with High/Low Chant
Quickly Review “See the Leaves” with Boomwhackers; add in body signs
Review the staff! Practice with heads on the line and on the space Define: All notes live on the staff!
Group Practice High Low Journal on Projector; Individual practice with first few pages of Journal.

2ND GRADE
Standards: 2.M.K.c; 2.M.K.d; 2.M.P.a Warm Up: “My Country Tis of Thee” O M S T
See the Leaves; continue building instrument sections (provide small group practice)
Day 1: Begin and Complete High Low Journal. If extra time allows start “We Are Dancing”
Day 2: Practice with skips and steps with Educreations.
End with laminated melody cards pratice for S, L, M

3RD GRADE
Standards: 3.R.C.a; 3.R.Pb; 3.M.K.b Warm Up: “My Country Tis of Thee” H M W
Chair Rhythms; add in Whole Note (Look for or make rhythm flash cards to give student visual)
Start/Finish Bar Line Work Sheet
Learn “Hand Staff” Rap; Sing/Learn Ebenezer Sneezer
Observations about Ebenezer Sneezer (high low movement); add in hand signs and boomwhackers

4TH GRADE
Standards: 4.M,P.d; 4.M.R.a; 4.M.R.b; 4.M.R.c Warm Up: Laudate Round; Send home recorder letters E H W
Day 1: Audition Solos for “One Little Candle”
Talk about “Light UP the World” in context to the message we are sharing; start choreography
Day 2: Audition speaking Lines
Run through choir Songs and script

5TH GRADE

Day 1: Audition Solos for “One Little Candle”
