 REFLECTION PRACTICE

Friday. July 5, 2019 was the first day I re-entered the campus with the new status of
student nurses profession, something I had imagined long ago even when I was still in one
semester in undergraduate nursing applied.

For nurses in the profession, a lot of competencies that should be passed as acceptable
syarta as student nurses profession, starting from the completion of the study to eight
semesters, community work, clinical practice to a target ten stase timely completion of the
thesis.

I am proud to have been there at this point, it is sufficient to prove that I am capable
and strong lead nursing education during this time with a variety of obstacles. Joy and sorrow
passed, until finally I holds a Bachelor of Applied Nursing. Something I have dreamed about
since first.

Previously I have heard many stories from various sources such as friends, the
experience of seniors, the story of a friend while undergoing clinical practice is also the story
of a professor that the profession of nurses was not kidding. During one year we are required
to complete ten stase nursing clinical practice, we targeted for capable and competent in
performing a variety of patient care, we are required to complete a variety of tasks to
scientific papers as a condition for the end of the study program graduated nurses profession.

Of course it is not easy, but I am confident and believe in myself. I was able to go
through each process for a year I underwent pendiidikan nurses profession. Support from
parents, family, friends to couples is something that can strengthen syaa undergo various
processes must dillaui. And the main thing is the power of God who had arranged everything.

Some friends in the Bachelor of Applied did not continue their education in
professional courses nurses. So the amount we originally eampat-four, now a forty-two
people. Kaba sad to hear that, but we believe we will be successful in the way we have
chosen.
Profession nurses for nursing students is a matter that must be done after studying at
college for about four years. Profession nurses is a consolidation of material that has been
gained in college and then applied to the real world of nursing practice, where professional
students studying this profession for more than 1 year. The practice of this profession is
usually carried out in hospitals, health centers, and in the community in accordance with the
competence that has been compiled.
There are ten stase which must be passed in the course pofesi nurses. Namely Stase
KMB (Medical Surgical Nursing). Stase we learn about diseases associated with the
respiratory system, digestive system, immune system and hematology, persyarafan system,
the musculo skeletal system, urinary system and integument systems.
Children Nursing Stase we learned about the screening of growth and development of
children with DDST, gastrointestinal diseases, congenital diseases, immunological diseases,
urinary system diseases, and immunization.In nursing our children do baby weight check,
Long Baby, LILA and the baby's temperature. Poli cases children themselves diverse as
developmental disorders (motor delay, delay Speach, global development delay), nephrotic
syndrome, dengue and immunization. Stase Maternity Nursing. Maternity nursing, here we
learn about nursing care for pregnant women, maternal and diseases associated with obstetric
and gynecological cancers such as cervical, vulvar cancer, ovarian cancer and so on. Critical
Nursing Stase, normally we would be commissioned in intensive unit where patients who
came into this room is the patients with respiratory failure and require a ventilator, patients
require postoperative close observation, patients with head injury and post-op patients with
hemodynamic instability.Stase nursing Soul, this distase we practice for the care of patients
with mental health problems, then the patient's rehabilitation after illegal drugs consumption,
such as drugs that cause dependency. This Stase is stase I like the most. Then Stase family
and community nursing. In this stase we learn plunge into the community to participate
directly in the activities of health in the community. Here, our activities include plunge into
posyandu toddler, Posyandu, fathers activities, activities of women, youth, children of school
age, kegatan health centers and school guidance. Stase Nursing Management. In stase we
learn menganai nursing management conducted in pelayaan kesehetan, besides that we also
do role play acceptance of new patients and the centralization of drugs, role play supervision,
role play weigh received, role play a round of nursing and role play discharge planning as a
form of exercise for hone our abilities. And the last is StaseGerontik nursing, in this stase we
learn to provide nursing care to the elderly of berbabagi psychological and physical aspects of
the elderly.

Haris will be many obstacles faced by all that is very valuable learning process for
future supplies in the future. Struggle, the sacrifice of time, energy, thoughts, and all
materials will not end in vain.
 Besides these nurses in the profession I got a lot of new friends. Friends of berbabagai
health polytechnic in Indonesia, among others, Palangkaraya, Surabaya, Surakara, Manado,
Bengkulu, West Nusa Tenggara, Bali, Ternate, Riau, Magelang, Jakarta and many more. In
the course of this nurses profession, we semangkatan one hundred thirty-one students. For
that we need to know each other as well as to adapt to the new friends from many different
backgrounds.

But before practice in the hospital, we had to undergo matriculation for one month.
We must re-learn about subjects that we have learned in the Bachelor of Applied Nursing as
psychosocial and cultural subjects, English, patient safety and the security of occupational
health and safety, maternity nursing, child nursing. Nursing gerontik, keperawaan critical,
emergency nursing, nursing hiv and aids, mental nursing, palliative nursing and nursing
information systems. In the matriculation process, we sometimes feel tired coupled with the
many tasks that must be done. But the matriculation process is very important as the
provision of our prior clinical practice in hospitals.

Sometimes all it to be a stressor for us. But "stressors challenge your life and makes
you stronger, limited stressors Decrease your creativity"(Lisa, Nurse). When stress comes,
pause, seek immediate positive support system such as mutual sharing with friends, walks
into a refreshing, reproduce worship, talked to the parents, or any other positive activities that
can be distracting thoughts.

Learning from the experience of nursing graduates first time, every turn of stase will
always find a different sensation. Year profession not only about the existence of time, pile of
tasks, togetherness, ambition, values and sacrifice. But more than that, if re-look into, the
profession is a journey towards maturity identity, identity, emotional and spiritual. In year
student profession "required" to understand more and more. as if intelligence is the only
measure of a student. Not a few among us who choose to surrender and stop to surrender. But
know that from the moment of time shows the wisdom of life to learn. Someday, someone
will realize that this is all not about grades, not about how hard trying to learn to understand
everything. However, this is all about what the certainties, about how much you can give to
others.
