RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A TAX APPEAL SETTLEMENT IN THE MATTER OF

EWING PROPERTIES c/o HILTON MANAGEMENT v. TOWNSHIP OF EWING TAX


COURT DOCKET NOs. 002058-2009; 002255-2010, BLOCK 341.01, LOT 5

Resolution #10R- WHEREAS, the Township authorized the filing of complaints with the
Tax Court of New Jersey for the 2009 and 2010 tax years challenging the assessment for
property designated on the tax map as Block 341.01, Lot 5, and located at 800-846 Silvia Street;
and

WHEREAS, the Special Township Tax Attorney, the Township Assessor and the Township
Appraiser have negotiated a settlement with the taxpayer regarding the assessment for the subject
property for tax year 2009 and thereafter; and

WHEREAS the proposed settlement is as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Township Council of the Township of
Ewing, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey, authorizes and approves the settlement identified
herein; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Harry Haushalter, Esquire, Special Tax Counsel for the
Township of Ewing, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and file with the Tax
Court of New Jersey such documents as are necessary to effectuate the settlement indicated
above and that he be further authorized to file a tax appeal for the 2011 tax year to further
implement this settlement.

the above is a true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Governing Body of the Township of
Ewing at a Regularly Scheduled Meeting of the Municipal Council of the Township of
