I propose that the Uber company use legal mechanisms to
define the parts and conditions of the type of employment relationship: this would mean that on the one hand the companies will be called Collaborative Work Platforms, and on the other hand those who work there will be Autonomous Workers Economically Dependent . The law would guarantee the affiliation of economically dependent self-employed workers to the Integral Social Security System and the Occupational Hazard System and would stipulate insurance requirements that include life insurance for death and total disability and contractual and non-contractual civil liability insurance policies. Whose costs will be borne equally by workers and platforms. With this model, the balance between the platforms and the service providers could be balanced. For example, the Uber platform could reach a collaboration agreement, framed by the collaborative economy, with the individuals that provide the service. The complexity would lie in the way in which this agreement is sustained.
