Warmer : JUMBLED WORDS
1. Before the class, the teacher jumbled up a list of words he/she wanted the
students to review, always, usually, often, sometimes, hardly ever, never.
2. In class, the teacher writes the jumbled words on the boards, walays, uualsly,

3. Students put the letters in the correct order and find the words.

1. Concept check
Checking forms: the teacher gets the students to look at all the
statements in the grammar focus and go through the form one by
one.
Meaning: How do we say “Adverbs of frequency” in Khmer
Use: Adverbs of frequency to say how often a person does
something and as a general rule, place the adverbs of frequency
between the subject and verb.
To ask about the frequency with which a person does a certain
action, make question with how often….? And can use with time
expression.
Yes/No question:
The teacher should use simple yes/no questions to check that the
students understand the new language. She/he should ask these
question to elicit the form, meaning, and use of the new language item.
E.g. Target item: “I always get up late at the weekend”
