Fiesta Sa Taligaman

DANCE PARADE COMPETITION 2019 GUIDELINES:

1. Concept or theme for performance, costume and props must depict the
culture, values and tradition of the assigned region or locality to represent;

2. The composition of the contingent must be a Resident of the competing


purok.

3. Assembly time for all parade participants (dancers, and Festival Queens) is
at 7:00 a.m.

4. Parade will start at 7:30 a.m. on August 12, 2019 - traversing Taligaman
National High School – Purok 5 and ending in Barangay Taligaman
Covered court.

5. There will be two (2) judging areas: one at Gate of Taligaman NHS and
the other in front of Hon. Elit Intino’s Residence.

6. Each performance shall be limited to FIVE (5) MINUTES excluding the


entrance and exit. The five (5) minute period begins as soon as the
participants of a contingent are properly set up in front of the judging stage
and ends as soon as the first participant leaves the judging area.

7. For every five (5) seconds in excess of the allowable time, a penalty of one
(1) point shall be deducted from the total score of all the judges.

8. Parade dance steps of participants should be continuous all throughout the


parade route.

9. The use of flammable materials such as pyrotechnics as part of the


performance is strictly prohibited. Props used in the parade or in the
performance should not exceed 14 ft. in height. Contingents are prohibited
from performing dance movements that unduly endanger the safety of
dancers, especially children.

11. Winners of the Dance Competition will receive the following cash prizes:
1st Prize P
2nd Prize P
3rd Prize P
4 Runners-up P

12. To file for a protest a contingent must; (1) write a letter stating the reason of
the protest, and (2) A contingent must pay an amount of 1000

13. The decision of the judges shall be final and irrevocable.
