TINTED MINT SANDSTONE

LOCATION State of Madhya Pradesh, India
CHARACTERISTIC It is nicely splitable sand stone having a sandy split surface feel of
which is like sand paper. It is produced in shades of white, yellowish,
pinkish colors. In bulk supplies stones with light golden yellow to
brownish yellow colors are seen. It is possible to separate white and
yellowish Colors in stock prior to making shipments.

Based on colors ,texture and superficial patterns, it has been identified

with following specific names

 AGRA RED SAND STONE
TRADE NAME Agra Red Sand Stone
LOCATION State Of Rajasthan, India
CHARACTERISTIC It is reddish colored sand stone produced in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
Because of its availability and resistance to weathering, it was one of the
main natural stones used in building forts and palaces in northern India.

 DHOLPUR SANDSTONE
TRADE NAME Dholpur Sand Stone
LOCATION State of Rajasthan, India
CHARACTERISTIC It is a pinkish Color sedimentary rock known as Dholpur because of its
abundant availability around the town Dholpur in Rajasthan. Mines of
Dholpur sand stone are spread on a very big area in the states of Uttar
Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

Material is mined in the shape of blocks which are forcibly split into slabs
due to which slabs have a very rough surface. Blocks are also being
gang sawn like marble to produce uniformly thick slabs and tiles.

 TEAK WOOD & RAINBOW SAND STONE
TRADE NAME Teak Wood
LOCATION State of Rajasthan, India.
CHARACTERISTIC This is a fine grained high silica low calcareous sand stone found in massive
sedimentary rocks having multi directional joints. This sand stone has
prominent colors similar to teak wood which has wooden patterns in
yellowish, brownish and very light pinkish colors the trade name indicates
patterns obtained and seen in this sandstone. Blocks are quarried, dressed
and then sawn into desired and required thickness.

STANDARD THICKNESS Slabs are in thickness of 20mm. 30mm, 40mm 50mm or thicker. Tiles are

TRADE NAME Panther Sandstone
LOCATION State of Rajasthan, India
CHARACTERISTIC It is a type of pinkish brown sand stone with dark brown
pantheric strips at least on one face of the stone. It has a level
surface with uniform thickness which is due to perfect splitting of
tiles along the bedding plains.

CHARACTERISTIC This has a fine grained splitable materiel having Crimson/red Color, soft
in nature with developed cleavage plains along which it splits well. Some
time it shows darker patches also, it can be splited with natural split
surfaces. Calibrated thickness with or without one side grinded and
calibrated. Available.
