In this individual assignment, you are required to analyze the mini-case entitled Highrise
Pictures using concepts from Chapters 2, 3, 4 and 7 of the Colquitt textbook (3rd ed.). The case
chronicles the job satisfaction, motivation, and performance of employees at Highrise Pictures,
and Charlie Palmer in particular. Your assignment is to read the article and answer the following
three questions:
Q2: Describe and evaluate Charlie Palmer’s job performance and commitment at
Highrise Pictures. Use examples from the case to support your arguments.
Q3: How can James Hatch help improve Charlie Palmer’s job performance and
commitment? Use theories of motivation and job satisfaction to describe
how James Hatch can help improve Charlie Palmer’s performance and
commitment. Use examples of the case to support your arguments.
Instructions
Read the mini-case entitled Highrise Pictures (see access instructions below).
Answer the above questions within the allotted word limit.
Use concepts from relevant chapters of the Colquitt text (3rd ed.).
Use examples from the mini-case to support your arguments.
Although essay format is not required, your grade will reflect your ability to effectively
communicate using proper grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and citations.
Quality of writing is worth 10% of overall assignment mark.
Include a title page with your name and student number.
The assignment is to be completed in word (no hardcopies required)
The assignment must be submitted to turnitin.com by 8am on Monday, October 1st.
